DRAT! THE CAT!
May 8th-18th, 2025
“Drat! The Cat! was perhaps the most delightful show to ever run a single week.”
- Ken Mandelbaum, Not Since Carrie
Music: Milton Schafer
Lyrics: Ira Levin
Book: Ira Levin
Director: Robert W. Schneider
Music Director: Miles Plant
Choreographer: Avital Asuleen
Original Broadway Opening: October 10th, 1965
The scene is turn-of-the-century New York, and a notorious cat burglar is targeting the richest families in town. When old Bulldog Purefoy, the respected sleuth on the case dies, the Keystone Kops turn to his good hearted but feckless son, Bob. His bumbling attempts to follow in his Dad's footsteps lead him to the "Cat" herself, falling head-over-heels in love along the way! Th magnificent score includes "She Touched Me," "Wild and Reckless," and "Deep in Your Heart.”
DRAT! THE CAT! is presented through special arrangement with the estates of Messers Levin and Schaffer
