Los Angeles-based comedian Max Meisel brings his debut headlining tour, The L.A. Sober Tour, to The Covellite for a night of sharp observations, self-deprecating stories, and big laughs.

Born and raised in New York and now based in Los Angeles, Max's comedy explores the culture clash between the two cities while poking fun at everything from relationships and family dynamics to travel, sports, and the absurdities of everyday life. Though the tour's title may suggest otherwise, audiences can expect a hilarious look at life on both coasts delivered with the perspective of someone who still proudly considers himself a New Yorker.

Over the past year, Max has toured extensively across the United States and Canada as a featured act for comedian Tom Arnold. He is also the creator and host of BackDoor Comedy, a unique comedy and live entertainment experience that has been featured by E! News, appeared at the New York Comedy Festival, and was selected for the 2026 Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles.

Combining storytelling, quick wit, and an energetic stage presence, Max delivers a stand-up show that feels both personal and universally relatable. Whether he's talking about growing up, navigating adulthood, or reflecting on the questionable decisions that brought him to the stage, audiences can expect an evening full of laughs from start to finish.
