The Covellite Players invite you into the energy of the ’80s and ’90s with The Power of Pride—an immersive performance honoring decades of resistance, resilience, and community.

Inspired by real stories and queer history, this production weaves together moments of struggle, strength, and identity, bringing the past into conversation with the present. Expect a bold, emotional experience that doesn’t shy away from the realities of the time while celebrating the people who lived it.

Created and directed by James Michael, with support from the Covellite Creative Team, the show is presented in partnership with local organizations working to promote HIV testing and reduce stigma.
