New York–based comedian Jonathan van Halem brings his sharp, observational style to The Covellite for a night of stand-up that leans into the everyday, the absurd, and everything in between.

Jonathan currently works at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and previously wrote for Tooning Out the News. He’s also contributed to ClickHole, and has built a strong following online, with clips regularly pulling in millions of views.

He’s opened for comedians like David Cross, Rory Scovel, Gianmarco Soresi, Kyle Gordon, and Sabrina Wu, and hosts the monthly show Hot Gossip at Union Hall in Brooklyn. His viral “AMC A

-List” rant was named one of Vulture’s Best Comedy Shorts of June 2024.
