Folding Chairs Presents: OOPS! All Funerals Cast

ERIC VALE (ERIC VALE)
Eric has been a professional actor (*not a waiter!) for over 25 years. He has been fortunate enough to voice iconic characters such as Shigaraki in My Hero Academia, Trunks in the Dragon Ball series, and Sanji in One Piece among others. In addition to his acting work, Eric is also a prolific writer, scripting features and short films, as well as a directing for film and stage. Eric’s time as a writer/director/performer in The Folding Chairs has been a joyful, fulfilling experience (*he said for a bribe). In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, watching 80’s films, and spending time with his family and his smoke-show of a wife (*see Alese Watson-Johnson).
LOGAN TREMBLAY (LOGAN TREMBLAY)
"What is Logan Tremblay?" Several scholars and theologians have asked this question, but so far the only answers have been more questions. Does he feel? Is he a solid or a gas? All we know is he thinks farts are hilarious and he has anxiety.
ALESE WATSON-JOHNSON (ALESE WATSON-JOHNSON)
Alese will always find it weird to speak of herself in the third person, but here goes. After many years of performing, choreographing, and directing musical theater, Alese retired her fishnet stockings and decided to focus on comedy and chocolate consumption. She is a founding member of The Folding Chairs and has been the troupe’s director for over five years. She’s also the voice of Pro Hero: Wash in My Hero Academia and Claes in Gunslinger Girl. She attends the Dallas Chocolate Festival every year like a pilgrimage and is definitely daydreaming about a box of truffles at this very moment.
AUSTIN TINDLE (AUSTIN TINDLE)
Austin currently resides in Dallas, TX, where he enjoys his leisure time as a master golfer, after picking up the game for the first time in 2016 when he shot a 38-under par round that included no fewer than 11 holes in one. He subsists on a humble diet and employs a servant to inspect every grain of rice that is served to him; any with the most minor of flaws is discarded. He has never used a toilet as his body recycles everything it consumes with flawless efficiency. Also, he invented the hamburger.
Katelyn Barr (Katelyn Barr)
Katelyn Barr is a returning member of the Folding Chairs troupe, as well as a voice actor for anime and video games. She’s lent her voice to such titles as Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, One Piece, Borderlands 3, and many more. Fun fact: if Katelyn had a nickel for every time she voiced a character that beat the crap out of Eric’s character, she’d have two nickels - which isn’t a lot, but it’s funny that it happened twice. Katelyn’s hobbies include playing the drums, collecting cool rocks, and disobeying the rule of threes.
Cameron Wisener (Cameron Wisener)
Cameron “Anything for the Bit” Wisener, as referred to in high school, is jazzed to be a part of Folding Chairs! She’s performed all around DFW at theaters such as Ochre House, Theatre Three, Firehouse Theatre, and with Plague Mask Players. When she isn’t acting, she loves taking part in life’s simple joys: whimsy, yapping, and watching tiktoks til the early morning when her eyes start burning and complaining about lack of sleep the following day. She’s currently stress typing this (she forgot to send it in weeks ago) while listening to David Bowie… RIP David Bowie. If she was a Muppet she would be Fozzie Bear. Waka Waka!
Bryan Madden (Bryan Madden)
Bryan Madden is a husband to a wonderful wife, father to three amazing boys, an illustrator, Navy veteran, and former police officer. Growing up the youngest of three brothers he always sought the spotlight and would do anything for a laugh. Unfortunately, that usually meant people would laugh at him more than laugh with him. Instead of letting that get him down, though, he made it his motto that, “even if they’re laughing at you, at least you made them laugh.” He took great inspiration from comedians like Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, and Dick Van Dyke, and hopes to become a professional actor one day, too.
Maximilian Swenson (Maximilian Swenson)
Another newbie, Maximilian! Maximilian Swenson (he/him) - Maximilian is a graduate from UT Arlington with a BFA in Performance and Minor in Dance. He’s very excited to perform for the first time with the folding chairs comedy troupe! His work has been seen at Dallas Children’s Theater (Magician’s Nephew, A Charlie Brown Christmas), The Dallas Opera (Elektra), and many others in the DFW area. He would love to thank his parents, dogs and peers for their endless support and love. Enjoy the show!
Cheyenne Haynes (Cheyenne Haynes)
Cheyenne Haynes is thrilled to be working with Folding Chairs Sketch Comedy. With a background in live performance on stage, improv, and camera technique she’s so happy to have found an opportunity to expand into sketch comedy. Her most recent stage credits include Antigone (Antigone/ Stolen Shakespeare Guild), Ensemble (The Manic Monologues/ WaterTower Theatre), Ada Byron Lovelace (Ada and the Engine/ Mainstage Irving) and she is thrilled to be making her stage debut with Stage West as Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Earnest this upcoming September. She recently expanded into film playing Danielle in Social Creatures set to be released to film festivals this April. She would like to thank her parents for putting up with her quick wit.
Matt Holmes (Matt Holmes)
More NEW talent alert! Have you met Matt? Matt Holmes is an aspiring Baywatch star. 5'9 on a good day, and baby it's always a good day. Holmes is thrilled to be working with Folding Chairs, and as with every show, shirts are optional.
