Intimate Apparel Cast

Renee Airall was a theater major at LaGuardia community college, and now continues with that major At City college. Before college, she has been in many productions such as Hamlet, Evita, Hairspray, A Chorus Line, Urinetown , and many more. During college Renee has played Big roles like Dorothy in The Wiz, with her powerhouse vocals, and has been nominated for the Kennedy Center American college theater festival, for her role as CB's sister in Dog Sees God. Renee has also had her off off broadway debut back in 2021 at the Here theater performing Mia. Later in life she wants to act on Broadway and eventually move on to television and film. Renee's main goal in life is to make someone happy. As a result of all of her consistent efforts, she hopes to put a smile on anyone she comes across.

Aniah Havis is a sophomore at CCNY. She is an aspiring actress that has been doing theatre for 7 years. This is Aniah’s 15th theatre production. You may have seen her in CCNY’s first production of the year in the 2022-2023 season, in which she starred as “Alicia” in Enfrascada. She has performed in musicals, plays, and been on stage crew. Aniah dreams to one day be on Broadway, and is so excited and grateful to be gaining this experience for her career.

Raven Torres is a talented performer who has been performing since 2013. She is currently in her third year studying theatre at The City College of New York. She has had a long history performing in Musical theatre productions such as Hairspray, Urinetown and most recently Bat Boy. Raven has also taken on directing within the past year being a director in the One Act Play festival of 2023. She also is currently working on directing another piece for The New Play Collaborations Showcase this December. She has been devoted to theater for years and never expects to stop.

Christopher Javier Aldea is a Queens Native actor/creative. (Shout out to Peter Parker.) His first tango with theatre was when he had the opportunity to play Chief Bromden (One Flew Over the Cookoo’s Nest), directed by the eyes of Julian Jimenez at QCC. Since transferring to CCNY, he has dove headfirst into his endeavors in Art, starring in Midsummer Night’s Dream. Christopher also attributes a lot of his training and inspiration to his studies at the Intar52 theatre. He is stoked to see what is in store for the future.

Shaena Gibson is a BedStuy native studying Theatre at The City College of New York. Her love for the stage began at EPIC Theatre Ensemble and NYU Steinhardt Youth Theatre Ensemble. She then continued her work in SUNY Potsdam’s 2022 Play’s Across The Walls, City College’s Midsummer’s Nights Dream directed by Chan Harris and The Moon Please directed by Rebeca Varela. Most recently, she has been gifted the opportunity to gain graduate level training at the 2023 Encompass Collective Summer Retreat. When she is not acting, you can find her at Studio KIN, photographing friends and hosting small events for local creatives.

Adonis Anderson is from Hurst, Texas. He played basketball his first 2 years of college however has transitioned into being a full time film student at the City College of New York. Intimate Apparel will be his first on stage production however, he did study at Atlantic studios under their 6-week summer intensive program this past year.
