El viaje de los esqueletos Cast

A los 13 años de edad escribió y dirigió la obra El Primo, en San Nicolás de los Garza N. L., México. En secundaria participó en el grupo de teatro escolar bajo la dirección de Lupita Delgadillo y la supervisión de ‘Nena’ Delgado. Como miembro fundador del Club de Teatro de la Preparatoria #7 de la UANL, escribió y dirigió dos obras: Amor sin Anestesia y Una obra Inconclusa. Estudió arte dramático en el Centro de Estudios Teatrales y un diplomado de cine en el ICAHM, en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México.  Formó parte del grupo de teatro Reflejo, con el cual presentó la obra de teatro infantil Las Mil y una Noches, bajo la dirección de Antonio Pichardo. En 1991 participó en la Muestra Nacional de Teatro estelarizando la obra Atavismo, de Roberto Guerra, la cual se presentó en el Teatro de la Ciudad de Monterrey. Desde entonces ha trabajado como diseñador gráfico, ilustrador, cineasta y animador. Tras tres décadas desde su última aparición en el escenario, en 2022 participó en la obra de un acto Cosas Sucias Punto Com dirigida por Juliana Acosta presentada en el Teatro de las Américas, para el cual más tarde dirigió la obra Roma al final de la vía. En octubre de 2022 fue parte del reparto de la obra Journey of the Skeletons, dirigida por Juliana Acosta en el teatro Elite, de Oxnard, CA. De enero a marzo del 2023 Saúl coordinó el Taller de Cine del Teatro de las Américas durante el cual un grupo de estudiantes produjeron el cortometraje Nuri. Actualmente Saúl Escobedo participa en el Teatro de las Américas como director de marketing y encargado de las instalaciones. **** At the age of 13 he wrote and directed the play El Primo, in San Nicolás de los Garza N. L., Mexico. In high school he participated in the school theater group under the direction of Lupita Delgadillo and the supervision of 'Nena' Delgado. As a founding member of the Club de Teatro de la Preparatoria #7 de la UANL, he wrote and directed two plays: Amor sin Anesthesia and An Unfinished Work. He studied dramatic art at the Center for Theater Studies and a film degree at the ICAHM, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. He was part of the theater group Reflejo, with which he presented the children's play Las Mil y una Noches, under the direction of Antonio Pichardo. In 1991 he participated in the National Theater Show starring in the play Atavism, by Roberto Guerra, which was presented at the Teatro de la Ciudad de Monterrey. Since then he has worked as a graphic designer, illustrator, filmmaker and animator. After three decades since his last appearance on stage, in 2022 he participated in the one-act play Cosas Sucias Punto Com directed by Juliana Acosta presented at the Teatro de las Américas, for which he later directed the play Roma al final de la vía. In October 2022 he was part of the cast of the play Journey of the Skeletons, directed by Juliana Acosta at the Elite theater in Oxnard, CA. Saúl Escobedo currently participates in the Teatro de las Américas as marketing director and facilities manager.

Después de una larga ausencia, Hillary se ha vuelto a dedicar a su pasión, el teatro. Desde 2020 en Ventura College ha dirigido el escenario, trabajado en vestuario y protagonizado 4 espectáculos, incluidos los musicales Spamalot y The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She was very proud to see a One Act she wrote, 1941: Hearts Involved, produced for Moorpark College’s One Acts. Hillary has been happy to assist renowned costume designer Abra Flores many times, most recently, with The Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara’s The Thanksgiving Play. She recently studied under the brilliant team of Taylor Kasch and Cynthia Killion at Santa Paula Theater Center. Hillary has been over the moon ecstatic about receiving the role of Kenny and being welcomed into the Teatro de las Americas familia.

Sin embargo, ha actuado en el escenario como telonero de E40, Too Short, DJ Quik, Bone Thugs N Harmony, ICE-T y Lighter Shade of Brown, solo por nombrar algunos. She has a degree in financial services, a dancer, graphic designer and marketing agent. She is a single mother of one daughter, lover of nature, animals and modern philosophy. Yuridia is making her debut as Ximena in the play El Viaje de los Esqueletos.

¡Hola! ¡Anthony está feliz de volver a subirse a los escenarios con Teatro de Las Américas! Anthony estuvo por última vez en el escenario de Teatro para la obra Wrench, que fue la obra inaugural en el nuevo hogar de Teatro. Muchas gracias a su directora Juliana Acosta por pedirle que repita el papel de Rolando, que tuvo la suerte de interpretar el año pasado, en la producción de Journey of the Skeletons de The Elite Theatre. Anthony fue visto por última vez en el escenario con el grupo de teatro The Fractured Actors para su producción de 2023 de The Speakeasy Project: The Golden Age. Anthony ha disfrutado cada segundo de su trayectoria como actor y espera con ansias lo que le depara el futuro. Soleá Heredia es una estudiante de primer año en Santa Barbara City College con aspiraciones de convertirse en veterinaria de vida silvestre. Fuera del teatro, dona su tiempo como voluntaria en Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network, rehabilitando animales y trabajando en el Zoológico de Santa Bárbara educando a los niños sobre la importancia de la conservación y el medio ambiente. Subió a un escenario por primera vez a la edad de 2 años y desde entonces ha estado muy involucrada en las artes. Algunos de sus papeles anteriores incluyen Isabel en la producción del Teatro de las Américas de Esperanza Rising, Peter Pan en la producción de Peter Pan Jr. de Highstreet Art Center y Anita en la producción del Teatro de las Américas El Nogalar. En su tiempo libre, le gusta escribir canciones, viajar y leer. **** Soleá Heredia is a first year at Santa Barbara City College with aspirations of becoming a wildlife veterinarian. Outside of the theatre, she donates her time to volunteering at the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network rehabilitating animals, and working at the Santa Barbara Zoo educating children on the importance of conservation and the environment. She first set foot on stage at the age of 2 and since then has been heavily involved in the arts. Some of her previous roles include Isabel in Teatro de las Americas staging of Esperanza Rising, Peter Pan in Highstreet Art Center's production of Peter Pan Jr., and Anita in Teatro de las Americas production El Nogalar. In her spare time, she enjoys songwriting, travel, and reading.

¡Mateo está encantado de actuar por segunda vez en El viaje de los Esqueletos ahora como Fernando y también está emocionado de actuar en su cuarta obra en el Teatro de las Américas! Mateo comenzó a actuar en un taller de verano en Monterrey, México en 2016. Más tarde se uniría a la producción de obras de Woodland Senior High School para varias obras de teatro y musicales, además de ser parte del conjunto en (Singin' in the Rain) en Woodland Opera House. Luego actuó en tres obras con el Teatro de las Américas, interpretando a Michael (Faith), El Joven (Viajero sin Equipaje) y Brian (Christmas Contigo), y también ha realizado trabajos ocasionales como técnico/diseñador de sonido para el teatro. ¡Espera que todos disfruten el espectáculo y que también lo pasen muy bien! ¡A sí, y también dice que Feliz Día de los Muertos! Who previously acted as Kenny at the Elite Theater. He is also excited to act in his fourth play at Teatro de las Americas! He first began acting in a summer workshop in Monterrey, Mexico in 2016. He would later join Woodland Senior High School’s Play Production for various plays and musicals, as well as being part of the ensemble in (Singin’ in the Rain) at the Woodland Opera House. He then acted in three plays with Teatro de las Américas, acting as Michael (Faith), El Joven (Viajero sin Equipaje), and Brian (Christmas Contigo), and has also done occasional work as a sound technician/designer for the theatre.
