The World Goes 'Round Cast

Annelise is excited to return to the TBD stage. Annelise has portrayed Hannah Ferguson in Black Swamp Players’ Spitfire Grill, Fraulein Schnieder in 3B/Village Players production of Cabaret, and was a member of the ensemble cast of Black Swamp Players’ The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. Previous credits include TBD Productions’ Motherhood Out Loud, Cutting Edge Theatre Company’s Chicago (Matron Mama Morton) and Black Swamp Players’ August: Osage County (Barbara Fordham). Annelise is one of the founders of TBD Productions and was honored to be in TBD’s first production, the two-hander Gidion’s Knot (Corryn). Other selected theatre credits include Matilda (Miss Trunchbull), Talking With (Moira/Fifteen Minutes), The Drowsy Chaperone (Woman in Chair); The Addams Family (Morticia); To Kill a Mockingbird (Miss Maudie); A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Crachit); Grease (Miss Lynch); and, Sister Act (Ensemble). When not in the theater, Annelise spends her time working as an attorney, volunteering with local theater organizations, serving on the advisory board for the BGSU Chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity, and enjoying high school again through her teenage daughter’s eyes. Annelise would like to thank her husband and children for always supporting her.

Courtney is so excited to be back on stage with TBD Productions! She holds a BAC in Theatre from Bowling Green State University and an MEd in Secondary Education from the University of Toledo. Courtney was last seen on stage in TBD’s Common Grounds. She has also worked with Issue Box Theatre in The Willard Suitcases, Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens, 26 Pebbles, Remember Me, and Company. She has performed in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder and Hats! The Musical with the Toledo Rep, and appeared in Songs For A New World, Hairspray!, Titanic, and Urinetown with 3B Productions. Courtney is currently the EMIS manager for the Ohio Virtual Academy. A huge thank you to the whole cast for reigniting her love for the stage! Love to the cast, musicians, crew, and amazing hubby Jason!

Luke D. Rosen received his BM in Choral Music Education and his MM in Choral Conducting Performance at Bowling Green State University, where he was also a composition student. Vocal teachers have included Mary Alexander (Cincinnati) and Christopher Scholl (BGSU), and conducting teachers have included Mark Munson and Emily Freeman Brown (both at BGSU). Since 2019, he has served as the Director of Choral Music at Evergreen Local Schools, where he has taught middle school and high school choir, music theory, and is currently designing a songwriting class. For 15 years before that, he served as Director of Choral and Liturgical Music at St. John’s Jesuit High School. He was Director of Music Ministry at Corpus Christi University Parish at the University of Toledo for 23 years before moving to the same position at All Saints Catholic Church in Rossford in 2022. Over the last 20 years, he has music directed and conducted dozens of musicals for local companies, including the Toledo Rep, Waterville Playshop, Cutting Edge, and TBD Productions. In addition to choral conducting, he is a published composer with multiple companies, including E.C. Schirmer, Santa Barbara Music Publishing, Oregon Catholic Press, Liturgical Press, and GIA. Premieres of his compositions have been given by the Tower Brass Quintet, Singing Men of Ohio (Ohio University), BGSU, Toledo School of the Arts, and many other schools and churches. He has scored incidental music for productions at both The Croswell and the Toledo Repertoire Theatre, and has written a full musical, Common Grounds, which was premiered and recorded by Evergreen High School in 2022. He also wrote new music for the Toledo Rep’s 2023 production of A Christmas Carol. When he's not making music, he can be found walking/running (although usually still composing during each walk/run), hiking (in northwest Ohio, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, or anywhere else he can escape into the woods or mountains), cooking (serious food and beverage connoisseur), birdwatching (especially during the spring warbler migration in the Lake Erie marshes), studying geology and mineralogy, and stormchasing (usually safely, but no guarantees).

Matt Zwyer (Man 2) has acted in, directed, and produced over 130 shows in his theater career; he’s also written a few shows, with the most recent project (Common Grounds-a collaboration with friend and composer Luke Rosen) produced with TBD Productions. Matt is excited to return to TBD for another passion project, and he thanks TBD for their support and willingness to bring it to life! I mean, when you have a great show with incredible music, coupled with a cast of amazing people, you have to say thank you to the producers who help make it happen! Some past TBD productions include Gidion's Knot (teacher), Constellations (Director), and Common Grounds (Director/Book). Some other favorite roles include Laurie in Little Women and Jinx in Forever Plaid. Matt is a graduate of Anthony Wayne High School and later Bowling Green State University. He teaches English/Drama at Four County Career Center and recently acquired his Masters in Library Science from Clarion University. He is choral director at Hope United Methodist Church, a Broadway junkie, and an avid collector of every cast recording ever!

Cyndy is thrilled to be in her very first TBD Productions show! Working with this incredibly talented cast has been an absolute dream – truly a once in a lifetime! And to be able to call them friends is a great blessing. Some of Cyndy’s other favorite roles have been Marlafaye Mosely in Savannah Sipping Society and Mother Superior in Nunsense both at The Village Players, Reverend Mother in Sound of Music (Grand Rapids), Elizabeth Arden in War Paint (Black Swamp Players), Georgette Howard in It Shoulda Been You (Black Swamp Players), Vi Moore in Footloose (Croswell Opera House), Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man (Croswell Opera House), and Alice Beineke in Addams Family (Waterville Playshop). When not on stage, Cyndy enjoys singing with the Perrysburg Chorale and singing in the choir at All Saints Catholic Church.
