And Then There Were None Cast

Phillip Zapkin (Mr. Rogers)
Much of Phillip Zapkin’s world revolves around the wonderful magic that is theatre today. He has directed, dramaturged, performed, written, and done tech work for multiple productions with Sock & Buskin, but playing Rogers is his first formal outing with SCCT—though Phillip did dramaturg for SCCT’s Dial “M” for Murder back in 2019. On the professional front, Phillip is a scholar of dramatic literature and adaptation, about which he has published a book and several articles. However, he pays the bills by teaching composition/rhetoric and business writing at Penn State.
Fiona Mulley (Mrs. Rogers)
Fiona Mulley recently graduated with a B.A. in Theatre and is thrilled to be making her SCCT debut. Past theatre credits include Henrietta Leavitt in Silent Sky, Margo Crawford in Bright Star, the Stage Manager in Our Town, and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This spring, she had the pleasure of working with Broadway actor Malcolm Gets for an intensive musical theatre masterclass. When not in theatre mode, Fiona enjoys singing jazz and working on original music with her band Spirits of Another Sort, where she wears many hats as a singer, cellist, guitarist, and pianist. She earnestly thanks her castmates, director, and stage manager for welcoming her into the SCCT community!
Will Barksdale (Fred Narracott)
Hilary Caldwell (Vera Claythorne)
Hilary is so thrilled to be returning to the Barn after many years away — and in her favorite Agatha Christie novel adaptation no less! Previous SCCT productions include Damn Yankees, West Side Story, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and A Streetcar Named Desire onstage, and Gypsy in the pit. Offstage, you can catch Hilary writing emails for increasingly unhinged clients, attempting her best Ina Garten, volunteering at PAWS, hiking with her own perfect pups, or cleaning up fresh wounds from her cat. Congrats to the cast and crew — especially Peter (you’ve really made it!) — and many thanks to her friends and family for their love, support, and constant incredulity at her choices. For Jim, who loved a good mystery.
Rob Burns (Philip Lombard)
Brandon Smith (Anthony Marston)
Brandon is happy to be back for his second production with SCCT. He was last seen in “The Games Afoot” in 2024. Brandon has enjoyed working with this “Wizard” cast and would like to thank directors Eli and Joe for all their hard work and for giving him the opportunity to help make “Anthony Marston” come to life! Outside of SCCT, Brandon has participated in show productions with Sock & Buskin Theatre Company and Stone Arch Players. A special thank you to our audience members, without whom, there would be no show.
Jared Kehler (William Blore)
Mercer Bristow (General Mackenzie)
Mercer is pleased to be back with SCCT after a three-year hiatus when he played Norman Thayer in On Golden Pond. Now retired following a 45-year career in philatelic authentication, Mercer looks forward to creating, along with his fellow cast members, the mysterious events found in Agatha Christie's celebrated murder mystery.
Heidi Cole (Emily Brent)
This is Heidi’s seventh play with SCCT. It all started with Clue:on Stage where she played The Cook and The Singing Telegram Girl. This was followed by roles in Last Call at Chez Mort, The Iliad, The Odyssey and All of Greek Mythology (in 99 Minutes or Less), Holmes! The Musical, All My Murders and The Game’s Afoot. Even when not acting, Heidi can be found on stage doing standup or karaoke.
Rod Egan (Sir Lawrence Wargrave)
When he's not advising the Transport Ministry of Senegal or serving as advance man for Lizzo's concert appearances, Rod leads a quiet life with wife Beth and two inherited aging border collies. Though otherwise retired, Rod is senior landscape maintenance technician on the Egan estate in Oak Hall. Some might also call him a serial thespian. Rod is honored to be playing Wargrave in the shadow of Charlie Wilson, who played Wargrave in SCCT's 2012 production.
Peter Buck (Dr. Armstrong)
Dr. Peter Buck is a climate, sustainability, and policy professional with a lifelong love of the arts. He directs education for Sustain Penn State and co-directs Penn State’s Local Climate Action Program as Associate Teaching Professor in the John and Willie Leone Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering. While it’s been over 30 years since Buck performed theatre, he’s no stranger to the stage. Starting at age 5, Buck sang in choirs, quartets, and musical theatre. Then, he picked up the guitar, bass guitar, and string bass and played in (mostly heavy) bands, chamber ensembles, and orchestras. He earned two degrees in music composition and theory. His lives converged on the TedXPSU stage in 2017 with his talk, “What’s the future hold? Ask a metalhead.” Buck is excited to return to the stage as Dr. Armstrong. He lives in State College with his wife Hilary, who is playing the role of Vera Claythorne.
