Auditions and Crew Needs for up coming shows are added throughout the year, and usually scheduled about 12-15 weeks before opening night. Below you will find a list of the upcoming shows which have scheduled auditions at this time.  The schedule below will include the Production Title, Type of Production, Performance Period, Dates and Times of Auditions, Director Contact Information and a summary of cast needs.   See, ‘OUR SEASON TAB’ for schedule productions and select the Cast Tab for each to see Primary Character Summaries.  More shows are added monthly so check back often.  Contact [email protected] for more information.

Most Directors follow the following format as to expectations: 

You will be asked to complete an Audition Sheet. and list any potential performance or rehearsal conflicts as well as clothing sizes, and your experience.  (Virtual Auditions should include this information, and phone contact information.

You may present a monolog if you have one prepared.

You may be asked to read cold from the script.

You may be asked to sing a tune, if there is music in the production - and you may need to bring your own accompanying music if required.

You may provide a VIRTUAL audition recording, via [email protected] or directly to the Director at their respective contact points. All Virtual Auditions, if permitted, must be sent no later than the START time of the last scheduled auditions date noted below.  A live call-back audition may be requested for any virtual auditions,

The times listed are START TIMES, and if a range is provided, the arrival should be at least 30 minutes before the listed END time.

The Allstate Community Theater is a 6,000 square foot theater with a 40 x 22 foot main stage, and multi-level seating for up to 200.  It is equipped with a professional sound and lighting systems, to bring the best out of each performance.
