Joey Rolandelli (Mr. Beauregard)
Joey Rolandelli is popping with excitement to be back with Miracle Players and working with both old and new friends. He was last seen on this stage as Max Detweiler in "The Sound of Music." Joey has also appeared with various theatre groups and productions around the Baltimore/DC area. Some of his favorite past roles include: Alf in "Peter & the Starcatcher," Mortimer in "Arsenic and Old Lace," Lord Evelyn in "Anything Goes," Gaston in "Beauty and the Beast," Barfee in "Spelling Bee," and Trekkie Monster in "Avenue Q." By day, Joey is the Assistant Director of the Catonsville Senior Center and enjoys bar trivia at Matthew’s. Thanks to Kacy, Josh, Doug, and the rest of the cast and crew, and as always, to his family and friends.
Lenny Taube (Willy Wonka)
Lenny Taube was last seen on the Miracle Players stage as Commander Harbison in "South Pacific." No stranger to the stage, past favorite roles include Charles Condomine in "Blithe Spirit," Mr. Sowerberry in "Oliver!," Bert Healy in "Annie," and Marcellus Washburn in "The Music Man." Lenny has been involved with community theatre since 2008 and, when not on stage or behind the scenes, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He would like to thank Kacy for the opportunity to play the infamous “Candy Man” and dedicates his performance to his dear friend, Kelly Rardon. Enjoy life while you can. No time to dally when wonders await. Don’t postpone joy!
Seeley Moore (Mrs. Gloop)
Seeley Moore is a junior at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, studying Vocal Music and aspiring musician, is returning for a third show with St. Gabriel Miracle Players. Having been in seven shows overall in several theater groups. Favorite role so far has been Dorothy Gale in the ‘Wizard of Oz’, and dream roles include Kim McAfee in ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ and Christine in ‘Phantom of the Opera’.
Sawyer Moore (Violet Beauregard and Ensemble)
Sawyer Moore is a 7th grader at Sudbrook Magnet Middle School, is returning for a third show with St. Gabriel’s Miracle Players, and has been in nine shows overall in several theater groups. Favorite role so far is Goth Kid in ‘Bring it On’ at Sudbrook, and dream roles include Beetlejuice in ‘Beetlejuice’, Damian in 'Mean Girls’, and Catherine Parr in 'Six'. Sawyer wants to thank family and friends, new and old, both in the show and showing support in the audience!
Austyn "Aussy" Ann Liely-Baker (Veruca Salt and Ensemble)
Austyn "Aussy" Ann Liely-Baker is a 3rd grader at Watershed Public Charter Elementary School. Aussy is excited to make her acting debut as Veruca Salt during week 2 of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and one of the members of the ensemble during week 1. Outside of Aussy's acting endeavors she is also a Allstar Cheerleader and travels all over competing at the elite level. Aussy enjoys performing wherever she is and especially for her family. She gives a huge shootout to all her fellow castmates for their support and she sends all her love to her family!!
Jerry Gietka (Grandpa Joe and Grandpa George)
Jerry Gietka - He’s back! Last seen with the Miracle Players in 2014 as the Rabbi in "Fiddler on the Roof." Jerry has directed and/or performed in 103 shows with over 1,000 performances in the BAL/WDC/NOVA area, now with 52 different theater groups. Surely you have seen him somewhere. Favorite groups: Toby’s Dinner Theater, British Embassy Players, Washington Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre in WDC, Arena Players, FPCT, Spots, Vags, DCT, Ovation Dinner Theater, among others. You might still see him occasionally on BAL cable channel 75 hosting Top of the Morning (won Telly award). He had talk shows on WCBM and WNAV radio and is retired from government service. He also taught for a number of years at UMUC’s Graduate level. Come September he will be teaching a continuing Ed class at CCBC.
Paul Ballard (Grandpa Joe and Grandpa George)
Paul Ballard is delighted to join this wonderful cast for his return to the St. Gabriel Miracle Players’ stage where he has played many comic and dramatic roles over the years, most recently in his dream role of Emile de Becque in St. Gabriel’s 2023 production of "South Pacific." Other favorite past roles performed at St.Gabriel’s and with other Maryland community theatre groups include George Bailey in "It’s a Wonderful Life," Captain von Trapp in "The Sound of Music," the Baker in "Into the Woods," Felix Ungar in "The Odd Couple," and Sir Toby Belch in "Twelfth Night." Paul wishes to thank the director Kacy Conley for this great opportunity. Paul especially thanks his wonderful wife, Jan Danek, for all her love and enduring support of his many theatrical endeavors.
Willow Palewicz (Charlie (week 1))
Willow Palewicz got her start in Star Kids doing vocal solos and narration in Big Beautiful Planet, Squirm, and How Does Your Garden Groove. This will be her second Miracle Players Production after playing Beth Bradley in "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" last fall. She is in the 4th grade, loves bunnies and books, and would like to thank Mrs. Ann Marie (Feild) for taking a chance on her, Mrs. Kacy for encouraging her to keep acting, and her family for giving her love and confidence.
Jim Gross (Mr. Salt)
Jim Gross was last seen on the Miracle Players stage as Horton in "Seussical." Favorite roles include Mr Banks in "Mary Poppins," PT Barnum in "Barnum," and Daddy Warbucks in "Annie." When not onstage he plays ice hockey and spends time with his very understanding family: Alexa, Matilda, and Renee.
Gil Bolling (Charlie (week 2))
Gil Bolling is a fourth grader at Watershed Public Charter School. This is his first time performing for others. His favorite foods are Korean bulgogi and biscuits. His favorite place is Cape Henlopen. His favorite thing to do is to play video games.
Kristy Wiggins (Cherry Sundae)
Kristy Wiggins is returning to the Miracle Players after a many year hiatus. She began performing with the Miracle Players in the production of "Murder’s in the Heir" in 2008 and has performed in several shows, often as a dancer, which she really enjoys! Her favorite roles have been her role as Mom to Jack, Molly and Joshua and Wife to John. She performs Monday through Friday for an audience of kindergarten through 8th graders as math resource teacher right here at Watershed Public Charter School.
Molly Wiggins (Mrs. Green)
Molly Wiggins was born to be a star - her first play with the Miracle Players was before she was born! She has faced the wrong way as a princess in Siam and lived in Anatevka and while she has a supportive family in real life, she has often been cast as an orphan. Outside of the theater she enjoys rock climbing and being a student at Watershed. Molly is glad to see some familiar faces, and happy to see some new ones too! This whole experience has been a lot of fun (especially because this is her first time with lines) and she hopes that she will be in many more plays to come!
Kamden Boyd (Mike Teavee)
Kamden Boyd is excited to return to the stage for his third production with the Miracle Players. A proud 5th grader at Watershed Public Charter School, Kamden brings energy, confidence, and natural talent to every role he takes on. This year, he takes on the fun and fast-talking character of Mike Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a role that perfectly matches his bold personality and love for performance.
Kyro Boyd (Ensemble)
Kyro Boyd is excited to return to the stage for his third production with the Miracle Players. A 2nd grader at Watershed Elementary, Kyro is part of the ensemble and loves being involved in every moment of the show. With his growing passion for performing, Kyro enjoys bringing energy and joy to the stage and is proud to be part of the cast.
Kara Boling (Ensemble)
Kara Bolling is a social worker and the Garden teacher at Watershed Public Charter School. This is her return to theater after 30 years - her favorite role in high school was The Baker’s Wife in "Into the Woods." Kara sings in a folk trio called Lulu’s Fate and loves to bake, read, knit, and play video games.
Terri DePaola (Mrs Teavee)
Terri DePaola has been involved with the Miracle Players – on and off stage –since 1998! She made her Miracle Player debut in the role of Sister Sophia/Teresa in "The Sound of Music." Other favorite shows include, "Guys & Dolls," "Music Man," "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" (twice, 20 years apart!), "Camelot," "My Fair Lady," "Murder’s in the Heir," "The Plot Thickens," "Meet me in St. Louis," "Secret Garden" and "Little Women" with the Miracle Players. In off stage life she helps people buy and sell homes in her role as a realtor which she really enjoys. In her spare time, she loves spending time at the beach and in her garden. Sit back, relax and let your IMAGINATION take over for a while!
Mirza Deleon-Diaz (Ensemble)
Mirza Deleon-Diaz is a senior at Lansdowne high school. She was previously Sally Brown from Lansdowne's recent production of "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." She gives huge thanks to all her teachers, friends, and family who've supported her through her musical journey!
Douglas Kotula (Willy Wonka (week 2))
Douglas Kotula recently appeared as Father in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." Other MP productions include "Something's Afoot" (Nigel Rancour), "The Wizard of Oz" (Prof, Marvel/Oz), and "Annie" (Daddy Warbucks). He holds a master’s degree in theatre from NYU and is the current Theatre Arts Magnet teacher at Lansdowne High School. Favorite roles include Levi (Joseph…Dreamcoat), Captain Von Trapp (Sound of Music), Captain Hook (Peter Pan and Wendy) and King (The King and I – GAP and PFT). “Thank you, Kacy, for this fantastical opportunity!”
Robin Riha-Lopez (Mrs. Buckett)
Robin Riha-Lopez is excited to be making her debut with The Miracle Players. Robin is glad to return to the stage after Open Heart Surgery. Robin is blessed to be part of an amazing Cast! Robin graduated from Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Clown College; toured with Jubilee On Ice; sings with The Connections Choir; in the process of publishing literary works, including theatrical plays. Robin was last seen in the role of the Stepmother in "Into The Woods" with The Woodbrook Players. Other favorites include: Kings Dominion, PowerPlant Shows; The Sky Is The Limit Music Director/ Theater Teacher (1990s); Amiens, in "As You Like It"; Diana, Trisha, Sheila, in "A Chorus Line" (Val understudied); Reno Sweeney in "Anything Goes"; Mrs. Thayer, in 'Titanic" (understudied and played the role of Kate); Luisa, in "The Fantastics"; Liesel, in "The Sound of Music" (Maria understudied); Gilmer, Robin, Peggy in productions of "Godspell," with director responsibilities for this production once. Robin dedicates "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" to her family especially, her husband Rob, mother MaryJane (Veteran), and her son Vincent.
Ann Baden (Grandma Josephine)
Ann Baden has appeared in more than 20 Miracle Players productions. Some of the plays she has appeared in include The Wizard of Oz, Murder on the Nile, South Pacific, Little Princess, The Sound of Music, Blithe Spirit, Music Man, The King and I, Murder's in the Heir, Wonderland, Damn Yankees, Secret Garden, The Fiddler on the Roof, Our Town, and Man of La Mancha. She is a lector at Our Lady of the Angels and decided that if she could read in front of a church full of people, she could recite lines in a theater full of people.
Jordyn Njoku (Ensemble)
Jordyn Njoku was last seen in the Miracle Players stage as a member of the ensemble in "The Wizard of Oz." Jordyn is 8 years old, in the 3d grade, and attends Winand Elementary School. She looks forward to acting in other roles in her career. She’s excited to play her part in this production!
Ann Henry (Grandma Georgina)
Ann Henry has been in quite a few performances with the Miracle Players. It has always been a fun experience. Enjoy!
Alex Frazier (Jerry)
Alex Frazier is happy to be back again to perform in Miracle players Performance of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Alex has been performing in different shows since 2014 and hopes to continue in many shows to come
Madison Njoku (Violet Beauregarde)
Madison Njoku was last seen on the Miracle Players stage as Imogene Herdman in "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!" Madison is 13 years old, in the 7th grade, and attends Pikesville Middle School. Madison really enjoys acting and has had other roles such as Mary Celeste in “Sister Act Jr” and Michelle Morris in “Dreamgirls”. She’s very excited to be in this show!
Jacob Njoku (Augustus Gloop)
Jacob Njoku makes his debut in theatre as a Miracle Player! Jacob is 11 years old, in the 5th grade and attends Lyons Mill Elementary School. He enjoys making art and watching his favorite television shows! He is excited to do his debut show and hopes to do his best!
Sage Clark (Veruca Salt)
Sage Clark is a 5th grader at Watershed Public Charter School and is super excited to be part of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." This is her third production with the Miracle Players. Her first was as a Munchkin in "The Wizard of Oz" and followed by "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." Outside of Miracle Players, Sage played Matilda in "Matilda the Musical," which was one of her favorite roles ever! When she’s not singing, dancing, or memorizing lines, Sage loves reading, drawing, and making up stories of her own. She sends a big thank you to her directors, castmates, and her awesome family for cheering her on.
Sam Wright (Ensemble)
Sam Wright has performed as an actor and been on the stage crew for many Miracle Productions. His last appearances were in "Something's Afoot" and as the Cowardly Lion in the “Wizard of Oz." He is an active member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and is a knight in the Knights of Columbus.
Kacy Conley (Mrs. Buckett)
Kacy Conley has been involved with the Miracle Players producing, directing, and acting for over 36 years which has been a joy. She also enjoys being a St. Gabriel cantor and choir member and performing with the Howard County Fabulous 50+ Players. Big thanks to her husband Dan for his support and hard work. Without him, the show would not go on. A major shout out of gratitude to the wonderful and persistent production team and this talented cast.
