About Gliding to Golden: 50th Anniversary Cinematic Celebration!
The St. Cloud Figure Skating Club (SCFSC) presents their 50th Annual Ice Show!
This year we celebrate 50 years of skating artistry, passion and joy as we look back at the history of figure skating, movies and our club. Our skaters will perform jumps, spins and intricate footwork to music from movies over the past fifty years. As always, our annual show features all of our skaters, from the highest level to our newest (and cutest) learn-to-skate members.
Join us for a cinematic celebration of award-winning music and movies, including presentations of fan favorites including Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Annie, Rocky, Top Gun, Barbie and many more! In addition to high level skating, watch also for comedic moments in this review of movies and skating history.
The St. Cloud Figure Skating Club was incorporated in 1973 with its first Annual Ice Show held in 1974. The history of our club includes many accomplishments including numerous skaters achieving the highest (gold level) achievement in skating skills. This includes 10 skaters who have achieved gold level in Free Skate (Singles) including current member Charlotte Lau, 40 skaters in Moves in the Field (Skating Skills) including current members Charlotte Lau, Kennedy Drayna, Kourtney Mrozek, Ellah Vaverek, and Tia Leen, 4 skaters in Solo Free Dance including current member Charlotte Lau.

The St. Cloud Figure Skating Club (SCFSC) has been promoting skating enjoyment and excellence in Central Minnesota for over 50 years. Our skaters range from 3-year old beginners to adult senior level skaters. Our main goal is to promote the advancement of figure skating in Central Minnesota. We seek to develop each skater's interest and potential within an environment of support, and with the highest standards of leadership, professionalism and good sportsmanship.
