Peter and the Starcatcher Cast & Crew

AJ Dorton (Percussion/Crew)
(Sophomore) is in the orchestra pit as the Percussionist/Foley Artist. This is AJ's first theater production, but also plays Trombone in the Speedway HS bands and runs on the Cross Country Team.
Eli Collins (Brumbrake/Teacher)
( Senior) portraying the role of Brumbrake is participating in his first... and last... play at Speedway. He has participated in previous Speedway HS musicals including the role of Jojo in Seussical and as a trumpet player in the orchestra for Willy Wonka and Shrek.
Riley Busic (crew)
( Junior) has been member of the technical crew for 1 year. Last year’s production of Seussical was a personal favorite.
Rachael Wehr (Crew)
( Junior) has been involved in six shows at Speedway HS so far, with Shrek as her current personal favorite.
Christian Berry (Prentiss)
(Junior) is portraying Prentiss and this is his first production at Speedway HS. He says “so far it has been a blast and I’ve met many new people”
Devin Isaac (Ted)
(Junior) is portraying the role of Ted. This is Devin’s second role at Speedway HS. He previously portrayed Wickersham in last Spring’s production of Seussical. He hopes to continue with theater throughout high school and college.
Maggie Gholdson (Crew)
(Sophomore) previous theater experience includes nine musicals and three years on crew. For this year’s play, Peter and the Starcatcher, She is part of the costume team and very excited. Other activities include Color Guard, choir, and soccer.
Augustina Gibson (Slank/Hawking Clam)
( Junior ) has participated in Speedway Theater since 7th grade and has loved every production she's participated in. Her favorite role was being Stage Manager for "Rumors". She's also the President of Key Club, and participates in Spanish/ Multicultural Club, Art Club, and Student Council
Lauren Bowman (crew)
(Junior) joined theater because she thought it would be a great opportunity to learn and be involved in the theater department. She was a technical crew member for "Rumors" and "Seussical". She enjoys being behind the scenes to see a show come together and become the final product. She is also in Sunrise Singers and Advanced Choir.
jackie Eversole (Molly Aster)
(Junior) is portraying the curiously intelligent Molly Aster. This is Jackie's 5th production here at Speedway High School. Her previous roles include Talking Fish/ Devil 2 (Brother Grimm Speculation) Little Pig 1 / Greeter (Shrek the musical), Chris Gorman (Rumors) and Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical the Musical). Jackie is also a part of the music department's advanced choir otherwise known as the Sparkleaires. When Jackie is not in school, she's usually either playing softball or making friendship bracelets.
Cambrin Bradley (Crew)
(7th grade) This is Cambrin’s first time doing crew, but has helped out with a few other shows. She also likes to play trumpet and spin flags for Color Guard.
Lindsey Camden (prop master)
(Senior). Peter and the Starcatcher will be Lindsey’s 7th show at Speedway, and 4th show as Prop Master. Although she loves the musicals, her favorite shows have been "Rumors" and "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon.
Sam Magnabosco (Prop Master)
(Junior) has been a part of seven plays. This is his 4th year of doing sound. His favorite show was Will Rodgers Follies. He is a huge animal lover.
Lucas Eversole (Crew)
(Sophomore) has been involved in two previous shows at Speedway, with “Rumors” as his current favorite.
Makayla Davis (Crew)
( Junior ) is in her first year as a member of the technical crew. She has been in the choir pit for two musicals as well as SchoolHouse Rock. Her favorite part of crew is painting.
Adrianna Jackson (Crew)
(Junior) has participated in the following productions at Speedway HS - “Brothers Grimm”, “Seussical”, and her favorite - “ShrekThe Musical”
Emma Richardson (Crew)
(Junior) previously worked on the following productions: “Shrek, The Musical”, “Brothers Grimm”, and “Seussical”. Her favorite production so far has been Shrek.
Jayde Seymour (Crew)
(Freshman) This is Jayden’s first show and is “super excited” to be a part of the crew.
Gail Feeley (Crew)
(Freshman) has previously been in the shows Alice in Wonderland Jr. and Honk jr. Not only is she a crew member for this production, she is a member of the Color Guard and Choir.
Emma Wilson (smee)
(Junior) will be playing the role of Smee, and this will be her 6th show at Speedway. Emma also loves to help out in the crew whenever she can, and is also a member of Sunrise Singers, Jazz Band.
Carter Richardson (Crew)
(Junior) has been on crew for two previous productions and loves creating new things.
Bolaji Abindiose (Crew)
(Freshman). This is her 1st year being a crew member, and although she hasn’t been in any musical or play before, she has always wanted to. Her favorite part of being a crew member is working in makeup and costume.
Daniel Sedam (Crew)
(Senior) . This will be Daniel’s 7th show with his favorites shows being “Rumors” and “Willy Wonka”.
Chris Gomez (Lord Aster)
(Senior) in the role of Lord Aster, is back for his third production at SHS. His previous productions include "Rumors" (Glenn Cooper) and Seussical (Wickersham Brother). He also participates in cross country, track, band, color guard, sunrise singers, jazz band, and key club. He would like to thanks his friends for getting him into theatre and giving him a great experience.
Ja'Nai Williams (Black 'Stache)
(Senior) will portray the role of Blackstache. Along with theatre, Ja'Nai participates in volleyball, tennis, student council, and various other activities. This is her sixth SHS production and she cannot wait for you to see it take place!
Mauro Manzano (G/M/S/FP)
(Freshman) Mauro claims “he has no life”, and yet he is a member if the band, and now the Speedway Drama Department. He also states he was never “into theater” but in 2016, his friend Henry introduced him to “Be More Chill” and that's what sparked his interest in theater.
Ethan Roberts (Crew)
(Senior) This production marks Ethan’s 7th show! His favorite show has been Shrek. Ethan plans to go to Purdue to study Mechanical Engineering Technologies.
Anthony Tomasello (Crew)
(Senior) has a stage name " TBMP ". Anthony wants to learn more about production and the skill to design sets for his own shows. He plans to go to school for Music Production, Business, Acting, cooking. Anthony goals include becoming a rapping/singing artist, and signed to a record label, (and a cooking show!) This is Anthony’s 3rd show. He was previously in “Shrek, The Musical” and “Seussical”.
Mia Donald (Crew)
(Sophomore) This Mia’s first year in crew and she is so excited to make bonds, create memories, and learn new things! She has been in two Speedway musical, especially her favorite Speedway shows - “Alice in Wonderland Jr”. during her 8th grade year.
Henry Donahue (Captain Scott)
(Freshman) is thrilled to be playing Captain Scott in tonight’s show. This is his second year in Speedway, and he auditioned because he wanted to try something new. Having been in the sound crew for other productions,this is his first major acting gig! Henry says “Hold on to your pirate hats, because this is going to be one heck of a ride. Enjoy the show!”
Cody Adams (boy - peter)
(Sophomore) is in his first production at Speedway HS, in the role of Boy/Peter. He is a member of the Junior Varsity Football Team, a skilled skateboarder, and he decided to audition for the play because he “wanted to push himself to the limits”!
Will Bickel (Alf)
(Senior). Thus far Will has been in four plays and three musicals, He has proclaimed himself a huge theater nerd. Outside of theater Will is a part of the robotics team, the art club, the key club, and a bunch more clubs we don't have room to list. This year he is playing Alf the sailor, and shares “it is going to be one of the funniest roles I've gotten the chance to play so far.”
Maggie Endres (assistant student director)
(Sophomore) is an avid theater lover, and has participated in five shows at Speedway HS. She was in the ensemble for school house Rock Jr., Mrs. Mayor in Seussical and in crew for the play Rumors. For this production she is assistant stage manager. Maggie also plays Softball and Volleyball, as well as a member of the school’s drum line.
Aiyanna Gordy (Student Director)
(Senior) is the stage manager for this play. She has been involved Speedway's drama department for five years (including 8th grade). She has portrayed Fiona in Shrek the Musical and was the stage manager for both the play and musical last year. She states, “The drama department is such a free space that allows anyone to be a different person- even if only for a short amount of time- which is why I joined and I am excited to be a part of such an amazing production.”
Jeffrey Salmon (Director)
Jeffrey Salmon (Director) graduated from Brownsburg HS in 1988, and Ball State University in 1992 with degrees in Music Education, Musical Theater Performance, and Speech/Theater Education. He was a member of the world renowned University Singers, and while in college performed in theme parks and regional theaters all across the country. He returned to Brownsburg HS as a faculty member of the fine arts department teaching music, show choir, speech, theater and color guard. In 2000 he made the move to Orlando, FL to work for Walt Disney World Entertainment as a performer and Entertainment Manager. He was a producer and vocal coach for The American Idol Experience, Stage Manager for shows like Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and Finding Nemo, The Musical. Jeff also had the opportunity to develop new show concepts and entertainment experiences for Disney Parks and Resorts, including the current holiday show “A Frozen Holiday Wish”.
Nate Hall (Technical Director)
Nate Hall has been at SHS since 2013. He was the Master Electrician at Marian University from 2005-09. He has a Bachelors Degree in Technical Theatre and Studio Art from Marian University. He has worked at Indianapolis Civic Theatre as well as lighting design for local performers.
Devan Hall (Assistant Director)
Hi my name is Devan I'm new but not really. I'm new to the assistant's position but not new to the department. I have been a band mom and booster mom for the last 6 years. You have probably seen me at the ticket table at all productions in the past.
