Director
Britta SterlingHaving trained in stage directing under Dana Case, Britta’s keen eye for storytelling brings a unique edge to every project. Her work includes productions across opera, chamber music, and theater with companies like Independent Opera Company, Glendale Centre Theatre, Mission Opera, Savannah Symphony Chorus, and more. In addition to her directorial work, Britta is making her debut as a librettist alongside Rae Shrum, having written the English libretto for ‘Sancta Susanna'. As a soprano, Britta has performed with many opera companies and choral ensembles including: CSUN Opera Theater, Glendale Centre Theatre, Mission Opera, Mesopotamian Opera, Independent Opera, the Savannah Symphony Chorus, and the Roger Wagner Chorale.

Music Director
Caleb Yanez GlickmanCaleb Yanez Glickman was recently appointed Associate Conductor of Opera Modesto and music director of the Hollywood Youth Orchestra. He was music director of Pacific Opera Project’s award winning production of The Pirates of Penzance. Since then, he has led several productions with POP including Scalia/Ginsburg, Trial by Jury, and Die Fledermaus. Caleb has also recently worked with Opera in the Ozarks, Opera Southwest, Opera Saratoga, and Savannah Opera. This season, he will be music director for Lyric Opera of Orange County’s production of William Schuman’s baseball opera, The Mighty Casey. He is also spearheading a project entitled Transport: of a first of its kind double bill of Jake Heggie’s Another Sunrise and Handel’s Judas Maccabeus with The Why Collective in New York.

Collaborative Pianist
Milena GligicMilena Gligić is a Los Angeles based vocalist and pianist originally from Belgrade, Serbia. She is a recent alumna of the Young Artist Program at LA Opera where she worked as a pianist on several mainstage productions under Placido Domingo and James Conlon. She is often a pianist for productions with the LA Phil, The Industry and the Pacific Opera Project. Milena has performed with major professional choirs in the US: the LA Master Chorale, Washington Bach Consort and Collegiate Chorale in NYC. Well-versed in new and experimental music, she is a member of the Contemporaneous ensemble and Chorosynthesis choir. Her singing background is versatile as she studied and performed in many styles: operatic, jazz, pop and Balkan ethno. She has a Doctorate in Collaborative Piano from the University of Maryland and she is specialized in working with singers on vocal repertoire in many different languages.
