JD Edmonds (Christopher)
Jay Edmonds (Christopher Boone), is excited to be returning to the Sopris Theatre Company, for his third show. Other Sopris productions he has been in are: Frankenstein: The Monster/The Man?, and The One Act Play that Goes Wrong.
Bostyn Elswick (Siobhan)
Bostyn Elswick (Siobhan), is a valley local and is honored to be back at the Sopris Theatre Company. In previous seasons she has appeared in two Lauren Gunderson shows, Natural Shocks (Angela) and Silent Sky (Henrietta Leavitt), as well as Frankenstein: The Monster/The Man? (Mrs. Chesterton), The One Act Play that Goes Wrong (Annie), and Voice of the Prairie (Susie/Frances Reed). Some of her favorite local roles include Nancy from Defiance Community Players’ Oliver!, Rapunzel from Into the Woods at the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue, as well as O.G Howland in TRTC’s Men on Boats. Bostyn thanks Brad for this amazing opportunity, as well as her lovely boyfriend for his endless support.
Travis Wilson (Ed)
Travis Wilson (Ed), is honored to be performing once again with Sopris Theatre Company. A graduate of Colorado Mountain College’s Theatre and Sustainability programs, Travis has previously performed in various shows with Sopris Theatre Company; notably Frankenstein: The Monster/Man? (Victor Frankenstein/Percy Shelley), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Sagot), and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Billy Bibbit). He has also performed with several other theatre organizations in the RFV including: Thunder River Theatre Company’s Bluenose (Spatt) or You Can’t Take It with You (The Chief), Defiance Theatre Company’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown) and All Together Now (Magical Performer). Aside from his theatre work, you have probably seen Travis performing with drag troupe The Roaring Divas, working as a Youth Advocate for YouthZone, or as a theatre teacher and counselor at Colorado Mountain College. Travis is beyond grateful for all the support from his loving family and friends, to see you all here, and once again being able to enjoy the beauty of live theatre.
Julia Whalen (Judy)
Julia Whalen (Judy), is honored to bring storytelling alive in another production with Sopris Theatre Company. Julia has been seen throughout the Valley with Thunder River Theatre Company (Hurricane Diane, Zeus on the Loose), Aspen Community Theatre (Once Upon a Mattress, Company) and other projects with Sopris Theatre Company (Silent Sky, The One Act Play That Goes Wrong). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance and Arts Administration.
Hattison Rensberry (Voice 1, Mrs. Shears, others)
Hattison Rensberry (Voice One), she/her, is thrilled to be performing in another fascinating production with Sopris Theater Company. Her time not spent in the theater is as a photographer, reporter, graphic designer; and doing crafts with her cats. Some of her previous performances include: Frankenstein: The Monster/The Man? (Elizabeth/Mary Shelley), Silent Sky (Margaret Leavitt), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Suzanne/Countess), and Queer Voices (The Fate-Maker). She thanks everyone in attendance for their support of this stupendous program, and for their love of the arts. Especially her family and husband, in their unflinching support for her creative endeavors.
Scott Elmore (Voice 2, Roger Shears, others)
Scott Elmore (Voice 2), has been acting in the Roaring Fork Valley for over a decade. Some of his favorite appearances with Sopris Theatre Company were, The Voice of the Prairie (Leon Schwab), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Charles Dabernow Schmendiman), and Boeing Boeing (Robert). Scott is a Network Administrator by trade and an actor by love. He is incredibly grateful for his wife Hattison, who encourages him to do all that he loves and more.
Joshua Adamson (Voice 3, Policeman, others)
Joshua Adamson (Voice 3), is quite chuffed to be a part of this poignant production. He’s had the privilege to work with Sopris Theatre Company in the past in such shows as Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Einstein), Voice of the Prairie (David), and The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong (Christopher/Inspector). Across the valley, Joshua has been seen on stage with Defiance Community Players doing Oliver! (Bill Sikes), Thunder River Theatre Company doing Zeus on the Loose (Dermot/Zeus), and most recently in Aspen Community Theatre’s Once Upon a Mattress (Prince Dauntless the Drab). Acting is a passion of Joshua’s and he couldn’t do it without the love and support of his friends, his mom, and his darling girlfriend.
Calvin Parrish (Voice 4, Reverend Peters, others)
Calvin Parrish (Voice 4), He/Him, is a current student at CMC, and is very excited to be in his second production with the Sopris Theatre Company. With previous work offstage on Natural Shocks, this will be his first time acting with the company. He has been acting since he was in the 3rd grade, and he is really excited to be back on stage. In his free time, Calvin loves to play D&D and crochet. Thanks to Brad and everyone for making this a really good experience!
Pax Wild (Voice 5, No. 40, others)
Pax Wild (Voice 5) is excited to once again join Sopris Theatre Company for another show! A native of Colorado and currently living in the valley, they have been in Defiance Community Player’s Oliver!, participated in Thunder River Theatre’s new play workshop with the reading of Beyond Reason, and played Hannah in The Veil right here with Sopris Theatre! They would like to thank their friends and family for their love and support for their passion in acting!
Courtney Lindgren Williams (Voice 6, Mrs. Alexander, others)
Courtney Williams née Lindgren (Voice Six), is delighted to be returning to the Sopris Theatre Company stage. Coming from Northwest Montana, Courtney has been involved in local theatre since her debut in The Rocky Horror Show (Usherette/Phantom) with FVCC Theatre in 2011. More recently, Courtney has appeared in The Voice of the Prairie (Frankie) and Picasso at The Lapin Agile (Germaine) with Sopris Theatre Company and Grease (Patty Simcox) with Montana Actors Theatre. In her spare time, Courtney hosts the morning news for KDNK Carbondale Community Radio and she enjoys skiing, candle making, and gardening. Courtney would like to thank Ben, Hank, and Tadpole for their continued love and support.
