Ayleen Augustine (Lily Mortar)
Ayleen Augustine is a retired doctor turned professional stage and voice actress from the San Francisco Bay Area. Since arriving in Staten Island, she has performed in numerous stage productions, in addition to being a weekly international livestreamer. After her first performance as “Tituba” in “The Crucible”, Ayleen is delighted to be a part of The Sea View Playwright's Theatre family! Evelyn Munn (Giavanna Rotondo)
Giavanna Rotondo is thrilled to return to the SVPT stage. She is very excited to portray Evelyn in this production of “The Children’s Hour.” She was previously seen here at SVPT in “The Crucible” as Betty, “Suddenly Last Summer” as Mrs. Foxhill, and “Death of a Salesman” as Jenny and Letta. Some of her previous credits include #2 in Ghostlight Players’ “The Wolves,” Eileen in The Little Victory Theatre’s “Moon Over Buffalo,” Inspector Harriet Goring in The Little Victory Theatre’s “Holmes for the Holidays,” Fabry in the student-led “Rossum’s Universal Robots,” and Gypsy in Ghostlight Productions’ “Incident at Vichy.” She is honored to perform on this stage and collaborate with this talented cast and crew. She would like to thank Joe Gheraldi for giving her the opportunity to work with him again, and for all she’s learned from him. Giavanna is deeply grateful for the unwavering support of her friends and family. Lastly, Giavanna would like to thank her boyfriend, Isaac Lambert, for always encouraging her to chase her dreams.
Joanna DeJesus (Janet)
Joanna DeJesus is a New York–based actress and voice performer pursuing her BFA in Theatre, Musical Theatre, and History at SUNY Geneseo. Recent credits include Little Rock, Grease, Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties, and The Wolves #8. Joanna also performs voice-over work, including audio dramas featured on WGSU 89.3. She is so excited to be making her debut at seaview. Joanna would like to thank her friends, family, and directors for supporting her artistic journey.
Maria Lee Vazquez (Mary Tilford/Stage Manager)
Maria is excited to be back in a Sea View show as an actress and second time stage managing! Credits include: Eddie/Dr. Scott in “The Rocky Horror Show”, Jojo in “Seussical” and Miss Forsythe in “Death of a Salesman”. You can find her next as a second-time playwright in the Women’s Playwright Collective with Staten Island Shakespearean Company. When she’s not performing, Maria can be found shaping young minds as a teacher at Ivy Prep E.L.A. Maria would like to thank her mother for always believing in her, her boyfriend Zach for supporting her through navigating this difficult role, and Joe for giving her the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people.
Mariah Elle Kane (Karen Wright)
Mariah Elle Kane is a New York City based actress, singer, and dancer. Although this is her debut at Sea View Playwright’s Theatre, she has 20+ years of experience, and has worked with acclaimed Broadway artists such as Maria Torres, Baayork Lee, and Izzy McCalla. Mariah has also had the pleasure of performing at The Shubert Theatre on several occasions. While attending Temple University for a BFA in Musical Theatre, she graced the stage in Philadelphia as Adelaide in Guys and Dolls as well as Liz and Roxie in Chicago. When she isn’t performing, you can find her directing for Triple Threat Theatre where she most recently directed “Little Women”. John Hannan (Joseph Cardin)
John is excited to be back at Sea View Playwright’s Theatre for the third time in 2026! This is John’s fourth performance with Sea View, having previously played the roles of Alan in “The Boys in the Band”, Officer Larkin in “American Son”, and John Proctor in “The Crucible”. John has also performed with the Staten Island Shakespearean Company, The Little Victory Theatre, Staten Island Academy, Triple Threat Theatre, and Cornell University’s Cog Dog Theatre Troupe, as well as in stage combat shows with the Cornell University chapter of Ring of Steel. John would like to thank his friends and family for their continued support of his passion for theatre.
Dr. Shari Stein-Ballow (Agatha)
Shari has been doing community theater on Staten Island for 40 years. In the 80’s she performed at Sea View in Juno and the Paycock and Mother Courage. From 2012-2022, she performed at Empowering Voices with IlluminArt. In the past 2 years, she has been in 5 shows at The Little Victory Theater. The last one, she was a nun in My Big Fat Gay Italian Christmas. She is excited to be back in black and white for this one. Love to my family.
Dorri Aspinwall (Amelia Tilford)
Dorri has been involved in Staten Island community theatre for more years than she cares to remember. Some of her favorite roles at Sea View include Carrie Watts in “The Trip to Bountiful”, Momo in “The Humans”, and Senator Hedges in “Born Yesterday”. Dorri wants to thank Joe Gheraldi and her talented cast mates for a wonderful experience and another favorite role.
