Laura Hilger
A dream come true. What feels like a lifetime in the making has become a reality with the launch of Rose Theatrics. Laura is an award winning director in the educational and community theatre space with a passion for producing art that pushes boundaries, challenges perspectives, and leaves a lasting impact. Laura believes in the power of storytelling and raising the bar in every space she works. As Director of Speech and Theatre at Marian Catholic High School, Laura has directed state qualifying and winning performances while enhancing and growing the programs. Recent directorial credits include: She Kills Monsters, Every Brilliant Thing, Little Shop of Horrors (Marian Catholic), Footloose, and Something Rotten (Oak Lawn Park District's Erica Heilmann Theatre). While not working with her students, Laura is also a private acting/audition coach for performers of all ages around the Chicagoland area. To her team & cast members, thank you for taking a chance on me. To her family, partner, and friends-- thank you for listening to every detail, every idea, every hurdle, every victory, and loving me through it all. No day but today. For Erica.
Assistant Director
Samantha Elliott
Samantha Elliott is from Bay City, Michigan, and currently resides in Evergreen Park, IL. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. Samantha is the choral director, fall musical director and the assistant spring competitive theater director at Oak Lawn Community High School in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Samatha has been in several musical and theatrical productions with the Oak Lawn Park District Community Theater, The Beverly Theater Guild, and the Beverly Arts Center. Samantha has also had the opportunity to music direct teen and children’s theater productions with OLPD and the BAC. Samantha has a varied musical background having performed in pop bands, jazz bands, in musicals, operas, and other classical style concerts. Samantha is an inaugural member of with one voice, a professional choir at Western Illinois University. Recently, Samantha won the Beverly Theater Guild’s award for “Best Performance of the 2021-2022 Season” for her role as Paulette in Legally Blonde, she also won 4th place in season 10 of “The One,” a vocal competition on the south side of Chicago. Samantha loves to perform and teach and is so blessed she can do both everyday.

Brandi Bell
Brandi has been bringing her magic to the many stages in the Chicagoland area choreographing and performing in musicals and various productions for over 20 years. Choreography credits include The Wiz, Footloose, Anything Goes, Chicago, Once On This Island, Little Shop of Horrors! Brandi has been a dance instructor for 25+ years and is currently teaching at the OLPD Infiniti Dance Company/ IndepenDANCE team since 2022. She has choreographed everything from plays, to music videos, to flash mobs. Brandi lives, eats, breathes, sleeps DANCE...it's her drug of choice! On stage credits include: The Wiz (Dorothy), Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Narrator), Oliver (Nancy), Grease (Jan), Crowns (Mabel), Revelations (Angel St. Claire), & Sister Act (Deloris Van Cartier). Brandi is super excited to be portraying JoAnne Jefferson in one her favorite musicals, RENT, and is honored to be a part of making history in this inaugural production for Rose Theatrics! No Day But Today!!

Vocal Director
Gavin Harper
Gavin Harper is very excited to join the Rose Theatrics inaugural performance of RENT! He is an experienced music director with over a decade of teaching and inspiring vocalists and performers of all ages. His notable directing achievements include Shrek: The Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, Footloose, and Mean Girls, HS Edition. Gavin is also a music director at Street of Dreams Theatre directing shows such as Anastasia and Finding Nemo, Kids. He holds a BA in Vocal Performance and a Master's Degree in Music Education. He is a full time choir conductor with Uniting Voices Chicago teaching students 3rd-12th grade. He is also no stranger to the stage and has performed in numerous musicals including his favorite roles as Patrick in SpongeBob: The Musical, Mark Cohen in Rent, Robin in Something Rotten and Jamie in The Last Five Years. He is thrilled to work with such an incredible cast and crew! Break legs! @gavintheharper
