Big Fish a New Musical Cast

Cody Jacobs (Edward Bloom)
Cody is an Illinois native that has been enjoying the mountains of Colorado since 2020. He has a degree from the University of Illinois where he studied Vocal Performance and Lyric Theatre. Cody has been a private vocal instructor with the Roaming Gnome for several years and enjoys teaching and watching his student’s grow! A few of Cody’s favorite acting credits include Jesus in Godspell, Joe in Spitfire Grill, Rum Tum Tugger in CATS, and Elvis in The Elvis Musical. When Cody is not working here at the Roaming Gnome, he is pursuing a second bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Cody would like to thank his friends, family, and coworkers for their support and for enduring with his zany and vivacious personality!
Alton Humphreys (Young Edward)
Outside of theatre, Alton enjoys making music and Dungeons and Dragons. This is Alton's first show outside of Illinois. His favorite thing about being in a show is silently goofing around backstage between entrances. Alton would like to thank his wonderful friends and family for supporting him. He would like to thank Lisa for giving him this opportunity to work at Roaming Gnome and for putting up with his incessant banjo playing at night. Lastly, Alton would like to thank his wonderful partner for still supporting him from almost 1000 miles away.
Greer Caldwell (Sandra Bloom)
Greer is an avid reader, usually reading over 100 books a year. Her favorite part of being in a show is singing and dancing with other people, and the sense of community it builds. Greer would like to thank her five awesome kiddos, and the amazing production team for giving her the opportunity to be involved both on- and offstage this time!
Laine Caldwell (Young Sandra)
Laine is an incoming freshman at DSA, and loves to read fantasy books! Her favorite part of being in a show is getting to know the rest of the cast. Laine would like to thank her mom for letting her do the show… and doing it with her!
Jackson Sutton (Will Bloom)
This summer Jackson has loved helping out around the theatre. He loves the experience of putting a show together and meeting new people. Jackson would like to thank my close family and girlfriend for supporting me through the duration of this show and so much more.
Rory McCune (Young Will)
Rory would like to let you know that he has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and is a mixologist. His favorite part of being in a show is learning all the choreography. And finally, Rory would like to thank Lisa, for helping prep his first ever audition!
Pen Strand (Josephine Bloom)
Pen would like you to know that her current Duolingo streak is 292 . Her favorite part about being in a show is the community a show creates and the new acting techniques you learn. She would like to thank her family and friends.
Debbie Stevens (Jenny Hill)
Debbie loves to sing & see as many musicals that she can! Her favorite part of being in shows is definitely the singing - and being able to do it with her daughter! Debbie would like to thank all of the kids who have been so patient in helping the adults to re-learn the ropes after being out of theater for a while!
Brooklyn Stevens (Young Jenny)
Theatre is the biggest hobby I have and hopefully at the end of 2024 I will have been a part of 6-8 productions, 3 coming from this theatre!! (Heathers - Heather Chandler, Miscast, Big Fish) My favorite thing about being in a show is costumes, hair and makeup when everything comes together for showtime and having the audience see what we’ve been working on!! I would like to thank my castmates and mama who is also in this show!!
Stella Stalnaker (Amos)
Stella is 13 years old. They were a part of Heathers: The Musical as Miss Fleming, Amelie and Guys & Dolls as Big Jule. Their favorite flower is Dragonsnaps. They’re most excited to wear a big mustache!!
Travis Luther (Karl)
Travis had a previous career as a touring musician, so he loves to play guitar, sing and write. Since moving to Denver, he's done a bit of improv theater but nothing scripted! Travis loves acting with and getting to know all these other great members of our community. He'd love to thank his family for their encouragement and his neighbors for telling him about the theater.
Heidi Verdecchio (Witch)
Heidi is 12 years old. Her favorite flower is lavender. She is most excited for the witches reveal and working with Alton because he is quite “really nice to work with”.
Adam Kuhn (Don Price)
I love Scuba diving. My favorite flower is Gerbera Daisy. It's fun to actually be in a show with all the kids and parents instead of just running the show. It's fun to actually be in a show with all the kids and parents instead of just running the show.
Calliope Gamet (Jackie Price)
Calliope enjoys doing aerial dancing. Her favorite part of being in a show is connecting with the cast. Calliope would like to thank her parents for supporting her theatrical endeavors.
Maxwell Fischer (Young Don)
Maxwell enjoys biking, playing piano, and hanging out with his cat, Adeline. Maxwell's favorite thing about being in a show is the friendships and welcoming castmates. Maxwell would like to thank his parents, his cat, Miss Lisa, his castmates, and his delightful younger brother.
Laney Emmetsburger (Young Jackie)
Laney enjoys baking. Her favorite part about being in shows is the blocking. Laney would like to recognize "Me, myself, and I."
Quin Coakley (Mayor)
My favorite animal is a shark. I love to hear how the audience reacts to what's happening on stage, making new friends, and I love costumes!
Vivian Ko (Fisherman)
Vivian loves to craft and eat cheese. Her favorite part of being in shows is a bunch of people staring at her and applauding. Vivian would like to thank Lisa and her parents
Katie Sutton (Dr. Bennet)
Katie is a medical terminologist who loves traveling. She started out in theater in the 90's but life got in the way. Now, she am back after a really long time! Her favorite part of shows is building a family around the production. You get to meet and work with people you would never imagine. You get to tell a story together and that is very special. Katie wants to thank her son Jackson Sutton. He gave her the courage to dip her toe back into something that used to be her passion. He has inspired her to rediscover her love of performing after a very long time away. He helped Katie overcome baggage that she never thought she would. He made her remember that theater is indeed magic.
Fos Kroll (Cheerleader)
Fos loves arts and crafts, she likes tiny things, and she is very creative. Their favorite part of being in theatre is that the cast becomes your friend. Fos would like to thank Lucy Leonard for getting them into theater and always being there for them.
Adah Smith (Cheerleader)
Adah enjoys playing piano, dancing, sloths, and potatoes. Her favorite part of being in shows is the singing and dancing. Adah would like to thank her family and friends.
Vincent Fischer (Will's Son)
Vincent loves playing with his cat, Fireball, and doing karate (he's an advanced belt!).. His favorite thing about being in a show is being up on the stage. Vincent would like to thank his parents, his cat, Miss Lisa, his castmates, and his very nice brother :)

Amelie Tremblay (Witch Dancer)
Amelie plays competitive soccer and does karate. She is a brown belt and is undefeated with her sword. Her favorite part of doing theatre is meeting new friends! Amelie would like to thank her family and the Roaming Gnome crew. She's new but loves it so far!
