Beauty and the Beast Jr. Cast

Maria Alvarado (Butcher)
Maria Alvarado has always loved theater since she was a little kid. She started off in the dance studio since she was 4, she has been in multiple dance/theater performances like Mary Poppins, Alice In The Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and The Beast, and so much more. She learnt to perform lots of genres of dance. Maria has won a couple of dance awards in her life. This is Maria’s actual first theater performance but she has been in the industry. She is so exited to play as the butcher with the ensemble and cannot wait to see everyone there!
Ethan Anderson (Cogsworth)
Ethan is in 8th grade and excited to make his theater debut playing the role of Cogsworth. He enjoys many aspects of the stage, including time spent with good friends and cast members. Ethan also likes playing the violin, baseball, golf, and designing architecture.
Lillian Ballenger (Babbette)
Lillian is thrilled to portray Babbette this year. Lillian has previously enjoyed roles in the RSI musical and Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy. In Lillian's free time, you will find her at show choir, gymnastics, or enjoying the outdoors. She is so excited to participate in all the performing arts this year.
Nya Beck (Belle)
Nya Beck is very excited to be a part of this year’s production of Beauty and the Beast Jr! She was seen in last years production of Matilda Jr. as well. Nya loves the arts and has done several shows such as, Ruthless! ( Tina Denmark ) at ATI, Matilda ( Lavender ) at Civic Theatre, Annie ( July ) at Civic Theatre, and The Music Man and Fiddler on the Roof. Nya would like to thank her directors for their dedication to the show. She would also like to thank her parents for their love and support, and her friends and cast mates for being so amazing! She hopes you enjoy the show!
Camille Buckner (Ensemble)
Camille has been in many theatrical productions in the past. She has loved singing, acting, and dancing since she was little. She is very excited to perform in Beauty and the Beast and hopes you enjoy watching it just as much as the cast loves performing it!
Gabby Cobbs (Narrator)
This is Gabby’s second musical, and she is SO excited to preform. Gabby is a soprano in choir and is happy to showcase her singing! She is also happy that she has the OPENING LINE!!!
Josie Dale (Ensemble)
Josie is a 7th grader here at riverside junior high and is so excited that she has this opportunity to be in the musical. Josie is so excited to be on stage in the ensemble. She can’t wait to see how it comes out and how people think of it.
Julia Day (Hat Seller)
Julia Day is currently in 7th grade at Riverside Junior High and has been very excited for this year’s musical. She has been in many musicals during her life time and loves theater very much. Julia has been in love with theater since she was 4 years old. She also is in the Riverside Junior High choir and enjoys singing and dancing in her free time. Julia hopes that everyone loves this year’s production of The Beauty and the Beast.
Daphne DeMoss (Ensemble)
Daphne DeMoss has been doing theater for a while. Daphne has recently been in Bring It On, Newsies, and RSI Tony’s. Daphne has been in several different choirs from 4th grade choir to now, in show choir. Daphne DeMoss is glad to be apart of this Beauty and The Beast experience.
Nora Edmondson (Ensemble)
Nora Edmondson loves everything about being on stage! Since being on stage brings Nora the most joy, she plans to pursue her passion in the near future. Nora is so exited to be apart of show choir, the RJH volleyball team, and the musical this year!
Eleanor Edwards (Ensemble)
EB has been dressing up, and acting for 2 years. Going to conventions and acting as characters for other people to watch. They are very exited about anything acting. They deal with anxiety, but once they are up there. They can do anything.
Callie Eisinger (Madame De La Grande Buche)
Callie has enjoyed performing since she could talk, and she is very excited to be a part of the cast of Beauty and the Beast. She was in the ensemble of Matilda last year, and she has done lighting for Annie, too. She has been dancing since she was three, and can’t wait to perform with this amazing cast!
Aria Foley (Mrs. Potts)
Aria has been performing for over 10 years. She loves singing, acting and dancing. She’s preformed in 10+ musicals, including Matilda, Annie, and Cinderella. Aria is thrilled to be playing Mrs. Potts in Riverside Junior Highs production of Beauty and the beast. Sit back, pull up a chair, as the cast proudly presents…your show!
Natalie Freytag (Chip)
Natalie Freytag has been doing theater for three years. As well as performing in ensemble in Annie, she was in Matilda at Riverside last year and played Lavender. She performed in Aladdin at Roots School of Theatre and played Aladdin. She is thrilled to play Chip in Beauty and the Beast!
Alice Fukuhara (Villager)
Alice Fukuhara has been doing theater for 4 years, and has been in Annie kids and show choir. She loves to sing and perform on stage and has performed at both the junior high and intermediate at Riverside. She is so excited to be in another show, and can’t wait for it to be completed!
Evan Funderburk (Baker)
Evan is a 7th grade, violin player in our philharmonic orchestra program. Last year, Evan played in the winter and spring concerts for the 6th grade orchestra program. Evan is excited for his first performance in a musical and having fun doing it. Evan hopes to develop new friendships with his cast mates. He also hopes that you enjoy the show!
Seth Girbert (Monsier D'Arque)
Seth Girbert is excited to return to Riverside's musical program for this years showing of Beauty and the Beast Jr. Seth has been doing theater for seven years, and he has enjoyed every production. Each one always keep him wanting to return. Seth started doing choir this year and has loved every moment of it. He loves to express himself in whatever he is doing on or off the stage. Seth invites you to be his guest, and he hopes that everyone will enjoy Riverside's production of Beauty and the Beast Jr.
Annie Heinzmann (Ensemble)
Annie Heinzmann has always loved theater and musicals since she was little. She is part of RJH’s Show choir and is on the tennis team. Annie was also in RSI’s musical the year prior. Annie hopes the guests and those on stage or back stage enjoy the show!
Rishi Kadakia (Ensemble)
Rishi Kadakia has been preforming in Choir for four years and has one year of experience in the musical. In his experience he has learned that he loves to sing with an ensemble and improve each year. He hopes the audience will enjoy their performance!

Jurnee is new to Riverside Junior High this year. She has preformed at both Northview Middle School and Riverside Junior High! Jurnee is very excited to take her theatre experience to Riverside and play the role as La Fille 3. She is enthusiastic that the guests who walk into the theatre will enjoy the show.
Claire Lory (La Fille)
Claire has been involved in musical theater for 5 years. She has participated in camps and performed in shows with Roots School of Theatre, Carmel Civic Theater, CYO and Riverside Intermediate. Her favorite roles include Malificient in Sleeping Beauty, Annie in Annie, The Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Micheal in Mary Poppins, and Troy in High School Musical. Claire is super excited to be a part of the Riverside Junior High musical” and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Claire is looking forward to performing in her first school musical. She has previously performed on a smaller stage at Destination Imagination. Claire also enjoys singing in her youth group's band. She's very excited to sell expensive eggs to the villagers! She knows you will enjoy the show and hopes you have a great evening.
Abigail Ngene (Lady with a Cane)
Abigail has loved musical theater since last year. Abigail has done the musical at riverside junior high during her 7th grade year. Abigail loves singing which is why she is is in choir, show choir, and the musical. Abigail is looking forward to the musical this year and hopes to have lots of fun.

Maxwell Pendlum (Shephard Boy)
Maxwell Pendlum is a 7th grader at Riverside Junior High. Along with being in this years musical, he is in orchestra and in the yearbook staff. Maxwell has been in one other musical, Night at the Tonys in 6th grade. He is excited for opening night of the show.
Grace Penev (Aristocratic Lady)
Grace Penev is in 7th grade and this is her first musical. After doing Taekwondo for 6 years and becoming a black belt she has found a passion for all things musical. Grace is very excited to play the role of Aristocratic Lady! She is also thrilled to be in this years musical and hopes the audience enjoys the show!
Shae Pullen (Ensemble)
Shae is super excited to be in this years musical. Shae has always had a passion for music and singing. In this years musical Shae has learned to be hard working, passionate and friendly. Shae hopes her cast mates have a great time this year and hopes everyone enjoys the musical!
Faith Rader (La Fille)
Faith has been doing musicals since she was 9 but has always loved the Music Arts. Faith has started her career at Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy with her musical debut in James and the Giant Peach. Faith took voice lessons for a year before dropping them. In 2nd and 3rd grade she joined choir. she hopes that you enjoy the show.
Tessa Rodenberger (Villager)
Tessa Rodenberger has always loved theatre. She started performing in 2nd grade at Lantern Road Elementary School in the Veterans Day program. She also joined choir in 2nd grade. Tessa is very excited to play Village 2 in the musical. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Sophia Roux (Lefou)
Sophia Roux has always been heavily involved in music and the arts. She’s participated in multiple productions, including “The Little Mermaid” (Grace Church-dancing seagull and a fish) “Annie” (RSI-Tessie/orphan), and “Beauty and the Beast” (RJH-Lefou). Sophia’s also been in choir for 6 years, in show choir for the second year, and did dance, tumbling, and cheer for a year. You may have heard her at “Arts on the River” or at the choir's spring concert where she sang “(You Make Me Feel) Natural Women”. She loves to perform and is so excited about “Beauty and the Beast” and the new memories and experiences she will receive!
Cara Ruffner (Ensemble)
Cara Ruffner has always loved performing, whether dance, acting, or playing her flute, being on stage has always been her passion. Some of her most recent credits include the RSI Tony’s, various performances with their dance studio, and her upcoming performance with root’s school of theatre playing roles such as Thomasina in Arcadia, Olympe in The Revolutionists, and Margret in Silent Sky. She is thrilled to get to work with such a skilled cast and hopes to make some friends along the way.
Eliana Sanchez (Beast)
Eliana Sanchez has loved singing since she could talk. She has done “Out Loud” (for church), show choir, choir, and has performed in other school musicals such as Annie, The Wizard Of Oz, Matilda, and more. Eliana has always had a passion for singing, dancing, and acting whether it is in the shower or on stage! When not rehearsing for a show, you can find Eliana on the soccer fields, or recording silly TikTok’s. She is looking forward to opening night, and is grateful for the fun memories she has made along the way!
Sam Schott (Lumiere)
Sam Schott is a hard working, well rounded student who is always attentive. Whether it's dancing or singing he will be on top of it. He has been doing choirs for 7 years and has done show choir for 2. You can always count on him to bring a laugh or cheer people on. He hopes that he can live up to the expectations of his fellow classmates and directors, and all in all he hopes that they crush this show.
Aven Simko (Candle Seller)
Aven Simko is very excited to preform in this year’s musical. It is Aven’s second time doing a musical. Aven hopes that everyone enjoys the show!
Noah Slivka (Narrator)
Noah is in 7th grade at Riverside Junior High, and is thrilled to be a part of the Beauty and the Beast Jr. musical. While Noah starred as the host in the Night at the Tonys production for Riverside Intermediate, his background is predominantly in dance. He has spent four years as a part of the 31svn street dance performance team, and performed all over the Midwest. He is looking forward to show night, and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Bailey Smith (Bookseller)
Bailey Smith has been performing in theatrical arts for 2 years. Last year, Bailey acted as the Cook in her schools musical, Matilda. Last year she had tons of fun coming up with costumes and doing her best to help out the directors. This year she plays the bookseller and can’t wait for you all to see what we have put together!
Kenzie Stewart (Maurice)
Kenzi Stewart is an 8th grader at Riverside Junior High. She loves being able to perform, sing, dance, and act for who ever is in the crowd. This year will be her fourth year in choir and second year in show choir. She has recently been in the musicals Annie and Matilda. Performing these things helped build up her confidence in what she continues to do today. This year she is more than excited to be Maurice in Beauty and the Beast.
Sydney Strange (Gaston)
Sydney Strange has been doing theatre since she was young. Sydney started dancing (had been dancing for 7 years) then became interested in singing, so that year Sydney joined choir. After 4th grade ended she wanted more than just singing, so Sydney started doing theatre at her local Library. Sydney starred in such plays as the phantom toll booth and Nancy Drew and more. After theatre at her local library she started theatre at a local theater ji-eun-lee music academy and loved acting there so much that she has been in numerous plays there, including playing Miss.Hannigan in Annie, Cogsworth in beauty and the beast, Vivenne in Legally blonde, and played The music man (prof Harold hill) in the music man. Sydney loves theatre, and can’t wait to play Gaston in her second production of beauty and the beast!
Susannah Swisher (Ensemble)
Susannah has been in many musicals, 3 choirs, and many church Christmas programs. She has performed musicals at school and a local theater school called Y.I.T. She also has played piano since she was 5 and now plays the flute in the RJH band. In her free time, she enjoys reading and baking. Susannah hopes that everyone will love the show like she does!
Penny Taylor (Narrator)
Penny is so excited to be in this year’s Beauty and the Beast musical as Narrator 3. This is her first time in a production at Riverside Junior High. She’s been in musicals at her local church and has been dancing on stage for over ten years with Dance Creations Academy. Penny hopes that everyone enjoys show and appreciates the hard work and dedication of the entire cast to bring this musical to life.
Emerson Trombly (Milkmaid)
Emerson Trombley is in 7th grade at Riverside Jr High and was thrilled to find out that Beauty and the Beast was this years musical. She has been dancing since she was 2 at Wishes dance studio and the Academy of Dance arts. Last year, she got to preform as Sandy in the Riverside Intermediate Tony awards musical, and has been in the Academy of Dance arts recitals from 2018-2022. She is so excited for this years show and hopes everyone who watches will enjoy it.
Ellie Wilkins (Fishmonger)
Ellie Wilkins is a 13 year old in 7th grade. She has been doing theatre for 4 years. Some of her favorite roles were the Cheshire Cat in Alice and Wonderland, Ms. TeeVee in Willy Wonka Jr., and Hannah in Puffs. She is so excited for you to see this production of Beauty and the Beast. Monica Worden (Lady with a Baby)
Monica Worden has been doing plays and musicals for 4 years. She enjoys dancing and preforming in front of audiences as well. One of her favorite things is being very board with her role while performing. She has been developing this passion for theatre for a long time, and loves spending her time doing it. Monica hopes everyone has a great time tonight and enjoys the musical!
