Mel is the founder of the Rio Rancho Players and producer and director of “Our Town”. He directed theater for over 45 years throughout the United States.

Devin DuBose joined the Rio Rancho Players for Our Town back in 2021. With no prior theatre experience, he has worked his way up, from stage crew, to Co-Costume designer, and most recently as the Stage Manager for our production of Arsenic and Old Lace. He is incredibly excited to try his hand as an associate director for Our Town.

It is fun volunteering and supporting the arts in Rio Rancho. The RR Players is available to anyone interested in performing, volunteering, set design, sound, costume/make-up and everything in between. I hope you will join us in the next production! Amanda teaches social studies and theater online with Academy of Las Animas Online. She enjoys playing D&D with her husband and niece, and being on the Board of Elevate the Spectrum. They have 2 cats, Goji Waffles and Tidbit.

Involved in community theatre from a young age, I was thrilled to become a member of the Rio Rancho Players from their inception. I’ve been onstage and/or part of the production team in every Players production, as well as a former member of the Executive Committee. The show must go on!

Olivia is new to the world of Rio Rancho's Community Theatre and appreciates the opportunity to work on "Our Town" as an ad design assistant.

Jennifer started working in stage crew while in college, and was excited to get back involved in theatre when she moved to Albuquerque. This is her first production with Rio Rancho Players, and she is excited to grow and learn more about this craft. Thank you to everyone supporting Our Town!

Mel and I crossed paths in 2019 and recognized right away that Rio Rancho Players should be part of Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads. It is our dream to bring the arts in all forms to Rio Rancho AND create a space for all our programs to grow.
