Izzy is an actor, director, and choreographer from Arroyo Grande, currently based in Santa Cruz. She holds a MA in Theater Arts with focuses on Directing and Theater Management from UC Santa Cruz. Directing credits include The Comedy of Errors at PCPA, The Wolves at Renegade Theater Co. as well as Animal Farm and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at UC Santa Cruz. Choreography credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Fences, "Master Harold" ...and the Boys, and Pericles at Santa Cruz Shakespeare; Bandstand at The Western Stage; Mamma Mia, Alice By Heart, and Anastasia at Arroyo Grande High School; and The Prom, Hadestown, and Alice By Heart at Renegade Theater Company. Babe Payne is truly honored to be finally performing with Renegade. Recent stage credits include Magenta in Rocky Horror (Paper Wing), Electric Skate in SpongeBob the Musical (Cabrillo College), Christine in American Psycho the Musical (BAD Musical Theatre), and Frenchy in Grease (Cabrillo Stage) as well as Choreographer for Cabaret, Reefer Madness, Cry-Baby (Renegade Theater), Addams Family (Mountain Community Theatre), Sister Act (Cabrillo Stage), and La Boheme (Santa Cruz Opera Project). She is also an internationally traveled burlesque performer (Babraham Lincoln), cofounder of Best Coast Burlesque and Santa Cruz School of Burlesque. Additionally, she helps run Little Giant Collective, nonprofit art space.
