Matilda The Musical Cast

This is Angelis' 2nd (and last) year here at Ravenwood. They have been in over 50 productions since the age of 7. Some of their favorite roles include Diana Morales (A Chorus Line), Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family), and Cinderella (Into the Woods). Angelis would like everyone to know that they are Grace's beeeeeeeeest friend. :)

Ashi Agarwal is so excited to be playing Mrs. Phelps in her first Ravenwood production as a freshman. You may have seen them at varying performances at Franklin Brentwood Arts Academy. Ashi would like to thank the rest of the cast and crew, as well as Ms. Sumrall and Mrs. Hellmers for providing this opportunity. Please, enjoy the show!

Ben might not like writing cast bios, but he does love playing the Escapologist in Ravenwood High School's production of Matilda. He would like to thank everyone who has made this show so special! Make sure the follow the Raptor Players on social media and enjoy the show!

Caroline Meyer is giddy to be playing such a heartwarming character in her 5th Raptor Players production. She would like to thank her dogs for running lines with her and Emily Miller for making her dream of being Tik Tok famous come true. She encourages you all to sit back, relax, and enjoy this endearing show about a misunderstood headmistress and her inspirational path to self discovery.

Ella Miller can’t wait for this ‘miracle’ of a show to happen! This is her 5th production at Ravenwood as a junior. She would like to thank Mrs. Hellmers and Ms. Sumrall for making this exciting show fun and a great learning experience. You may have seen her in the fall as the quirky Mrs. Kirke in Little Women or Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde at ActToo Players! Enjoy the show, and remember: sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty!

Ella is feeling bittersweet about her final hoorah with the Raptor Players. From Female Swing (Anything Goes) to Charlie (Is He Dead) to Lulu (Footloose) to Aunt March (Little Women), she is going out with a bang as Mom 1. She would like to thank Ms. Sumrall for swooping in to save the day, her family for being her biggest fans one last time, and Grace Kohler for being ginger. Peace out Raps #g2barr

Evan Dovgalyuk is thrilled to be playing Mr. Wormwood in Ravenwood’s production of Matilda. You may have seen him earlier this year playing Laurie in Little Women. Evan would like to thank all his friends and family for supporting him so much!

Faith Dengate is so excited to be in Ravenwood’s production of Matilda. You may have seen her in Little Women (Katy) and last spring’s Footloose (teen ensemble). She would like to thank the cast, crew, Mrs. Hellmers, and Ms. Sumrall for putting together such an awesome show. Faith has loved dancing and singing with her friends in rehearsals. She can’t wait to take the stage and hopes you enjoy the show!

Gavin Winters is excited to be playing the role of Nigel. He has also played the role of Gavroche in Les Mis, Young Will in Big Fish and performed in Into the Woods, Peter Pan, and Shakespeare’s A Winter’s Tale. Gavin would like to thank his family for their support and Ms. Sumrall for this opportunity.

Grace is so excited for her last performance on the RHS stage as Lavender and behind the scenes as Head of Costumes! Her past performances at Ravenwood include Spelling Bee (Rona), Anything Goes (Hope), Big Fish (Jenny Hill/Head of Costumes), Footloose (Betty Blast/Head of Costumes), and Little Women (Hannah/Head of Costumes). So much love and thanks to all the Raptor Players, and to Ms. Sumrall for giving the show her everything and attempting to teach Grace how to body roll. Grace would like everyone to know that Angelis is her bessssssst friend!!

Grady Vasilevskis is so exited to play Rudolpho in Matilda! He would love to thank his supporters, such as his numerous fans, and his unquenchable thirst for performance. He also loves his family and friends very much. Also, if you're here on opening night, look for the man in the black trenchcoat in the back right of the room. He will give you the intel.

Kathryn is elated to be apart of her third production at Ravenwood as Bruce! Some of Kathryn’s favorite roles include: Annie in Annie, Elsa in Frozen, Brigitta in The Sound of Music, Sebastian in Little Mermaid, and Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods. She would like to thank the amazing crew and directors for putting this show together. Hope you enjoy the show! (P.S Kat likes chocolate cake)

Kylee Smith is delighted to be playing Mrs. Wormwood for her final performance on the Ravenwood stage. She would like to thank Ms. Sumrall for believing in her and giving her the opportunity to grow and learn as a performer. Lexi Russell is so excited to be in Matilda! This is her third production at Ravenwood. She is so grateful to perform with this amazing cast. She would also like to thank the crew, Ms. Sumrall, Mrs. Hellmers, her family, and her Guinea pigs. Sit back, relax, and don't get put in chokey!

Matthew can't wait to perform his second show with Ravenwood. While you might not recognize him without the hideous mullet, he enjoyed playing Lyle in Footloose last year. He extends his utmost gratitude toward his parents, grandparents, and friends for their endless support. Enjoy!

Natalie is incredibly excited to be in Matilda with the Ravenwood theater department! You may have seen her as Meg in Little Women or a Cowgirl Bobby in Footloose. She would like to thank everyone involved, and she can’t wait for you to see the show!

Preston Grady is so excited to be a part of Matilda! This is his fifth and unfortunately final show at Ravenwood. You may recognize from little women as Professor Bhaer or Wes in Footloose. He would like to thank Ms. Sumrall for believing in him, his family for always being supportive, and the cast of this show for making the theatre department a second home over the past 4 years.

Raleigh is a sophomore at RHS, and is SO proud to be to be a part this amazing cast and crew! This is her third production at Ravenwood, and she'll be playing the part of Miss Honey. She would like to thank her family and friends, as well as Miss Sumrall and Mrs. Hellmers for their unwavering encouragement and support. Raleigh would like to wish all the best to the incredible seniors. You will be missed- "Calculate this" and enjoy the show!

Sarah is thrilled to be making her Raptor Players debut as Hortensia! This is her 15th musical but has been in 40+ productions over the years! Some of her favorite past roles include Jenna (Be More Chill), Kate (Legally Blonde), Jovie (Elf), and Ms. Hannigan (Annie). Xander is thrilled to be in his third production at ravenwood and 6th production overall. You might have seen this charming guy play John in Little Women or Travis in Footloose. He would like to thank our amazing sound and lights crew, along with the choreographers for their hard work. Enjoy!
