Something Rotten! Cast

Nick Bottom (Jordan Wolfe)
Jordan Wolfe has been actively involved in theatre since he was three years old. He has acted professionally across the country in notable roles such as Cogsworth (Beauty and the Beast), Booth (Assassins), Miles Gloriousus (A Funny Thing), and Mr. Wormwood (Matilda). Outside of the theater he loves to hike, bike, play golf, and indulge in watching sports of all kinds. Jordan hopes you enjoy the show.
Nigel Bottom (James Guthrie)
James spends his days trying to make the future a bit better by teaching critical thinking skills and science to middle schoolers. At night, he suits up to protect the innocent from the scourge of villainy...no, wait, that's Batman. After being an ensemble member in Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder (his first production with Porchlight Players), he's excited to play the role of Nigel Bottom. He does his best to bring the proper level of nerdy love for poetry that the character deserves. James wants to thank his wife Rachael for supporting his desire to sing and dance for the entertainment of strangers, even though she sometimes wishes he wouldn't practice his dance moves in front of the neighbors.
Shakespeare (Lance Schober)
This is Lance’s 11th year performing in the Valentine's show. Last year we had missed all the smiling, laughing wonderful faces that have come to see us every year. He’s looking forward to another wonderful show, with incredible people telling a witty and charming tale. Thank you all for supporting us, and sharing our love of live theatre in our Valley. Without an audience we’d just be laughing at ourselves.
Bea Bottom (Gina Parrish)
Gina Parrish grew up in the Vail Valley and has enjoyed theater since she was a kid. She has a bachelor’s degree in Theater and Film from the University of Colorado at Boulder (Class of 2013) and has worked with several professional theater companies in Colorado, including Square Product Theater in Boulder and Curious Theater in Denver. She would like to thank her family and friends for their generosity and support, especially her “right hand man” Matthew. She looks forward to welcoming everyone to the Renaissance in her first production with Porchlight Players!
Portia (Michelle Cohn Levy)
Michelle Cohn Levy is thrilled be returning to the Pochlight Players stage for her fourth production with the company. She currently lives in Gypsum, CO and is a wife and mother to three sweet little girls. Michelle has been in a number of commercials, TV shows and music videos. From an early age, Michelle has been involved in theater both on the performance and production sides. She has been in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Avenue Q, Catch Me If You Can, Les Miserable, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Alice in Wonderland, Annie, Vail Valley Theater Company's Cabaret and many more. Michelle is the Cantor at B'nai Vail and also enjoys playing guitar and singing at a number of venues around the valley.
Nostradamus (Bart Garton)
Bart gave up the Beijing Olympics (as a cameraman, not an athlete) for this nonsense… AND HE COULDN’T BE HAPPIER!!! This Rotten show has Something going for it, and methinks it’s the perfect way to extract from that Covid mess we’ve been going through. Check your codpieces, your farthingales, and strap in for a wild Renaissance!!! Glad you’re here, thanks for coming out.
Brother Jeremiah (Paul Witt)
This is Paul’s seventh production with Porchlight Players, starting with Young Frankenstein. He would like to thank his family, and in particular his wife, Mary, for supporting him and this passion of his. His favorite omelet is ham, cheese, and spinach.
Minstrel/Tom/Ensemble (John Tedstrom)
John has been performing musical theater in the valley for 20 years and is excited to be back with Porchlight Players. He’s been in every dinner theater show but one. For John, “Something Rotten” is a perfect show because it knits together fun snippets from other shows in such a funny way. Other favorite roles include Rod in Avenue Q, Sir Robin the Not So Brave in Spamalot, Lawrence Jamieson in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Captain Hook (at the Ford Amphitheater), and Billy Flynn (with VVTC). Thanks everyone for supporting live local theater and getting the gang back together.
Robin/Ensemble (Alex Brady)
Alex is a first-time musical theater enthusiast who makes up for his lack of experience with a can-do mentality and an enthusiastic attitude. He's been in the valley for 6 years, enjoying the outdoorsy lifestyle, interspersed with nerdy hobbies like dungeons and dragons and magic the gathering. Alex may be new to the world of theater and dance, but he has been singing and playing the guitar since his edgy teenage years, and has developed a deep passion for music and song (you can check out his youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/Handro44 ). Shoutout to Michelle Cohn Levy for suggesting he audition!
Peter/Ensemble (Jamie Harrison)
Jamie Harrison is in his second Porchlight Players production, having played several roles in the 2019 production of “Catch Me If You Can.” What he lacks in experience he attempts to make up for in enthusiasm (and practice!)
Ensemble (Olivia Cook)
Although she doesn't care for the taste of omelettes, Olivia is thrilled to sing about them with the amazing cast and crew of Something Rotten. This is her first show with Porchlight Players after she saw the light and decided to return to the stage following a hiatus from the stage. Olivia would like to thank her amazing friends for their support - especially John and Laura for being her Right Hand Man(s), and Alex for encouraging her to audition.
Shylock (Randy Olin)
Randy is honored to be in another Porchlight Players production with this incredibly talented group of people. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, he loves the sights and smells of theatre, the roar of the crowd, and especially the splat of the fruit as it hits the actors. It gives him nachus in his pupik!
Ensemble (Carmen Moscarillo)
Carmen has a long history in the theater including Carousel Dinner Theater's King and I, Damn Yankees, and Christmas Special. Other notable performances include The Nutcracker with the Joffrey Ballet at Playhouse Square. This is Carmen's first performance with Porchlight Players, and she is looking forward to more shows in the future as she grows her roots in the valley.
Lady Clapham/Ensemble (Kimberly Manahan)
Kimberly is back on stage with Porchlight Players for the fifth time. Some of her favorite roles include Phoebe D'Ysquith ("A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder"), Marcy Park ("The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"), and Christmas Eve ("Avenue Q") Kimberly enjoys skiing and dancing, and when she can't do either of those things, she works as a Ski School supervisor/instructor in Vail. Kimberly hopes you enjoy the show!
Ensemble (Lindsay Olin)
Lindsay is thrilled to be back onstage with Porchlight Players. She last appeared in Catch Me If You Can in 2019. While in college at Pacific University, she performed with the Dance Ensemble as well as in a few theatrical roles in The Vagina Monologues and The Laramie Project. She would like to send out a huge thank you to the amazing cast and crew members for all of the hard work, dedication and laughter they brought to rehearsals, to everyone coming out to support community theater, and most of all to her wonderful mother and director Ann for all of her support and encouragement.
