Nicole Rose D'Arecca

Has been a student at Playhouse West-Philadelphia since January of 2022. Suicide Watch is her debut performance as an actor and a writer.  She also previously adapted it into an award-winning short film.  Would like to thank Tony for providing an opportunity to present her work.  Would also like to thank Michelle Opalesky and Christopher Castagna for believing in her and helping her bring this story to light.

After walking into Playhouse West-Philadelphia 6 years ago, Joe is finally fulfilling his desire to perform at the school's theater. "Something to Fight For" is his debut as a playwright. He has written and acted in short films such as the award-winning comedy, Meet Mufasa.  Can also be seen on Discovery's Evil Lives Here, S15, E4, streaming on Max. He thanks God, his family, Tony, and his cast mates for their endless show of support of his dreams. 

Tony Savant

Director of Playhouse West-Philadelphia, one of the foremost respected acting teachers in the country.  For over three decades, Mr. Savant has been integral to Playhouse West achieving its top reputation throughout the industry and as one of the finest acting schools in the world. Helped train some of the most successful film and TV actors, including Ashely Judd, James Franco, Tessa Thompson, Scott Caan, Scott Wolf, Jim Parrack, Scott Haze, Wentworth Miller, Alain Uy, Jean Elie and hundreds of other working actors.  Artistic Director of the award-winning Playhouse West Theater Company in L.A. over 20 years. Created, co-wrote and directed the award-winning production, “Welcome Home, Soldier”, winner of “Best Drama”, hailed as “the year’s most powerful theater” in 1991.  The play closed in Los Angeles in 2016 after 25 years. Directed over 75 stage productions, including The Baby Dance, Light Sensitive, Country Singer, Speed The Plow, Dinner With Friends, Sin, All In A Day’s Work (also wrote), The Gingham Dog, and most recently, the original play, Savannah.  Directed five films including award-winners Red, Buddy, Billy and the Hurricane. Acted in more than twenty films and over 40 stage plays.  The Trouble With Stacey is one of more than a dozen one-act plays written my Mr. Savant.
