About A Small-Town Summer Mystery Party!

Come Join the Fun!
Small Town Mystery – A Founders Day Fiasco

Widower Sheriff, and his son, live with the Sheriff's Aunt in Maybre. With virtually no crimes to solve, most of Sheriff's time is spent philosophizing and calming down his Deputy.

Today is a big day because Clara has overseen and organized a Founder’s Day Celebration and the people of Maybre and several visitors have gathered today for the kickoff supper at the Courthouse!

Aunt D, Emma Brand (the town’s chronic hypochondriac), Ellie (the town’s new pharmacist) and several of the ladies have worked all week on the food and decorations for today’s event. Andy is trying to explain to Barney why he isn’t in charge of Clara’s event even if he does want to sing the Founders Day song he has been practicing. Otis is sleeping in the cell and Floyd and Gomer are busy sharing “shop” stories while Ernest Tee is working the crowd with a pocket full of rocks and looking for a way to sneak off with Aunt D’s award-winning pie. Of course, Mr. Schwamp is usually sitting on the courthouse bench as he always does, with a smile on his face and not saying a word to anyone.

Everyone is having a great time and Clara is puffed-up proud as a peacock until something sinister happened…
