Step into a world of wonder, whimsy, and timeless magic as Christian County Public Schools proudly present Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins Jr. — a delightful musical adventure for audiences of all ages!
Based on the beloved stories by P.L. Travers and the classic Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins Jr. brings the enchanting tale of the practically perfect nanny who flies in on the east wind to bring joy, discipline, and a little bit of magic to the Banks family. Featuring unforgettable songs by the Sherman Brothers, along with new music by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, this charming production is filled with dazzling choreography, heartfelt moments, and plenty of fun.
This production showcases the incredible talents of students from HMS, CCMS, HHS, and CCHS, under the direction of Tracy Bean and choreography by Brittany Fleming. Audiences can expect a high-energy performance full of color, creativity, and the joy of live youth theatre.

Pennyroyal Arts Council Inc.
The Pennyroyal Arts Council, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, was established in 1977. We are governed by a Board of Directors which meets the second Thursday of each month at the Alhambra Theatre. Visitors are welcome to attend these meetings. Staff includes an Executive Director, Business Manager, Marketing Director, Education Coordinator, Rentals and Hospitality Manager, Technical Director, Theatre Office Assistant, and Patron Services Manager.
Arts Council programming includes the Live at the Alhambra series, School Day Performances, Missoula Children’s Theatre, Art Exhibits, and more. The Arts Council manages the Alhambra Theatre on South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville.
