nside a snowflake exists the magical land of Whoville, wherein live the Whos, an almost-mutated sort of Munchkin-like people who all love Christmas. Just outside of their beloved town lives the Grinch (Jim Carrey), a nasty creature that hates Christmas and plans to steal it from the Whos, which he equally abhors. Little Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen) decides to befriend the Grinch.

Established  in 1977, the mission of the Pennyroyal Arts Council, Inc. is to  encourage, develop, and promote the appreciation of the Arts through:  Education, Support, Service, and Presentation.
The Pennyroyal Arts Council, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, was established in 1977.  We are governed by a Board of Directors which meets the second Thursday of each month at the Alhambra Theatre. Visitors are welcome to attend these meetings. Staff includes an Executive Director, Business Manager, Marketing Director, Education Coordinator, Rentals and Hospitality Manager, Technical Director, Theatre Office Assistant, and Patron Services Manager.

Arts Council programming includes the Live at the Alhambra series, School Day Performances, Missoula Children’s Theatre, Art Exhibits, and more. The Arts Council manages the Alhambra Theatre on South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville.
