Buddy was a baby in an orphanage who stowed away in Santa's sack and ended up at the North Pole. Later, as an adult who happened to be raised by elves, Santa allows him to go to New York City to find his birth father, Walter Hobbs. He, who is on Santa's naughty list for being unkind, had no idea that Buddy was even born. Buddy, meanwhile, experiences the delights of New York City (and human culture) as only an elf can. When Walter's relationship with him interferes with his job, he is forced to reevaluate his priorities

Established  in 1977, the mission of the Pennyroyal Arts Council, Inc. is to  encourage, develop, and promote the appreciation of the Arts through:  Education, Support, Service, and Presentation.
The Pennyroyal Arts Council, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, was established in 1977.  We are governed by a Board of Directors which meets the second Thursday of each month at the Alhambra Theatre. Visitors are welcome to attend these meetings. Staff includes an Executive Director, Business Manager, Marketing Director, Education Coordinator, Rentals and Hospitality Manager, Technical Director, Theatre Office Assistant, and Patron Services Manager.

Arts Council programming includes the Live at the Alhambra series, School Day Performances, Missoula Children’s Theatre, Art Exhibits, and more. The Arts Council manages the Alhambra Theatre on South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville.
