A physical comedy that plays in absurdity, queerness, joy, and rebellion. This will be the first restaging of this piece after its beginning at the University of Iowa during our time as graduate students through the Department of Theatre Arts.

Q&A with the Producer

Why did you submit your show to the Omaha Fringe Festival?

There is a heart in Omaha that I feel every time I come to visit. I have loved the gay pulse that I feel when I am here. A lot of us have family or dear friends in Omaha or the surrounding area- so this space felt as a strong move to continue this work. 

What are you hoping audiences will take away from the performance?

I don't want to speak for my collaborators but I think we all three agree that we want people to see theatre, art, dance, performance and to be moved. For an audience to leave a space that has been transformed from the time they walked in, to the time they leave. They are inspired, or changed, they laughed, they now think differently about things or they discovered something inside themselves from what they saw on stage.
