Fill the Glass (The Princes of Mars Present: The Henriad) combines sketch, stand-up, and improv to present classic stories in new and innovative ways. Puppets, Shakespearean language, and original comedy will all appear in this celebration of storytelling, optimism, self-worth, and creativity.

CAST

21 improviser/actor/comedians come together to create a series of comedic motivational workshops. The cast will change somewhat for each performance as no two improvised shows will be the same. 

Q&A with the Producer

Why did you submit your show to the Omaha Fringe Festival?

I submitted this piece to the Omaha Fringe Festival after many years being tied into Omaha Fringe. I have appeared onstage with Pandemic at the Disco and have consulted with many Fringe Fest Board Members over the years, including the original founders. I have always wanted to produce for Omaha Fringe and saw this as an opportunity to practice and showcase new forms of comedy that we have attempted before, but needed more workshopping and the ability to draw in a new audience that may not have seen Omaha improvisers before. 

What are you hoping audiences will take away from the performance?

I hope audience members have a great deal of fun, but also more thoroughly realize their ability to create fun and engaging experiences for themselves and others. I hope this performance encourages people to take comedy classes who may have never considered doing so.
