Heylea is the Director of this fantastic production of Young Frankenstein. This is their 30th show overall, but their first experience directing a musical. They would not have been able to accomplish this feat without the help of their fiancé and music director Kyle Nienaber. They have really gotten the best experience possible with this cast and crew. Thanks to them all for making this the best show ever. In the entire universe. ROWRRRRRRRRRR GRRRRR AHHHH for all the monsters out there.

Kyle is overjoyed to see the culmination of all the hard work that has been put into this show. This is Kyle’s first time music directing with OVST, but he has previously music directed with The Lost Flamingo Theatre Company(LFC) at OU. He has been seen before primarily on the stage, including as Mark last year’s production of RENT with OVST as well as with LFC as Jimmy Harper in Reefer Madness, Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and John Hinckley in Assassins. Katie is going into her 4th year at Ohio University. She is getting a BFA in Musical Theater and a minor in dance performance and choreography. Some of her past theater experiences includes Ohio University: 9 to 5 (Ensemble/Dance Captain), Medea (Chorus), Squeakers (Squeakers u/s), Everybody (God/Understanding u/s). Alexis has been part of the theater world for over 40 years. Currently, she serves as the administrator of the drama program at Athens High School, and directs and choreographs for The Actors Guild of Parkersburg, ABC Players, and OVST. When she is not working on the production side of theater, Alexis is also a performer. Some of her all time favorite roles include Sandra/Florence in The Play That Goes Wrong, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun, Rizzo in Grease, Ulla in The Producers, Velma VonTussle in Hairspray, Elizabeth in Young Frankenstein, Ursula in The Little Mermaid, The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, and Janet in The Rocky Horror Show.
