Cassidy Van AmburgCassidy Van Amburg is a Chicago native who has been teaching Choir at Nolensville High School since 2018. In her seven years at NHS, Mrs. Van Amburg has grown the program from one class of 30 students to three choirs with over 100 total students. Outside of school, Mrs. Van Amburg teaches private voice lessons at Roots Academy and sings with the Nashville Symphony Chorus. She is thrilled to be Vocal Director and Choreographer for her 10th musical at Nolensville!

Michael GagliardoMichael Gagliardo is in his first year as Director of Orchestras at Nolensville High and Thompson's Station Middle Schools. Previously he served for 29 years as the Music Director of the Etowah Youth Orchestras in Gadsden, Alabama. Since 2016 he has served as the Music Director of the Gadsden Symphony Orchestra. His opera and musical theater conducting credits include work with Jacksonville (AL) Opera Theater, Theater of Gadsden, and CharACTers (Gadsden, AL). He is excited to conducted NHS's first Pit Orchestra for this production!

Sofia Scribner Sofia is thrilled to be apart of the Little Mermaid as her junior year musical! She has been involved with all major productions at NHS since freshman year and technical theatre since sophomore year. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support during this process.

Elia PyperElia has been thrilled to be given the opportunity to assistant direct this show as well as play the part as Flotsam! She is a junior in high school with a strong passion for theatre, especially acting. One of her favorite show memories was working out scenes with her partner Bella and figuring out the weird harmonies that came along with it.

Gabe Moyer Mornin' to y'all!!! Gabe is so excited to be playing Sebastian in Nolensville’s crabtastic performance of The Little Mermaid. He has had such an amazing time under the sea with all his friends this show. He wants to thank his family and friends for all the love and support, and the directing team for making this deep sea adventure possible for his senior year. He hopes y'all sit back, relax all 8 legs, and enjoy the show because life under the sea is better than anything they got up there!!

Student Vocal Director
Annaross Wetzel Annaross is so excited to be playing Aquata in this production of The Little Mermaid. She is a junior and has been doing theatre since she was nine. She enjoys thrifting, sewing, painting, going to concerts, and leading worship at her church. Annaross has also gotten the opportunity to be the Student Music Director for this show, and has had a blast teaching music, making practice tracks, and running some of the music rehearsing! She can't wait for this amazing show!

Stage Manager
Emma DickersonEmma is in 11th grade and has been the NHS theatre stage manager since her sophomore year. She has enjoyed watching both the tech crew and the acting team grow and develop their craft. Emma is grateful to the Little Mermaid team that has worked hard on this amazing production.

Backstage Manager
Amelia ThompsonAmelia is a junior in high school and has been a part of the NHS theatre department since the spring of 2023. She is the deck manager for The Little Mermaid and is very excited and grateful for being part of such a wonderful theatre community. One of Amelia’s favorite memories from being a part of the theatre department has been gathering up to play games and do a circle before the shows, it brings the energy up and helps her reflect on her time with her wonderful peers. Amelia also is very proud of all of her wonderful friends who are working so hard in the show to make it happen. She would like to thank Ryan for being so supportive, her mom and dad for being there for her at every show. She would also like to thank Nylah, Patrick, Zilly, Beans, The Dargis’s, Mema, and Grandad for being there for her to support her also.

Reaux Terpening Reaux is so excited to be a part of her first show at Nolensville High School. Reaux is one of the assistant stage managers. Reaux is glad that theatre runs in the family and her mom is so supportive of the work she does on and off stage!

Audrey Kinard Audrey does stage management and helps Emma and the directors. She helped build the set for the Little Mermaid.

Head Sound Engineer
Ben Sailer Ben is in his second year of theater and his second show as head sound engineer. He is super excited to work with the live orchestra and all the sound design elements.

Rhys PlankRhys is a junior at Nolensville High School and is in his 4th year of organized theater. He is portraying Grimsby in the Little Mermaid and is absolutely thrilled to share this amazing show with everyone! Rhys is so fond of all of the amazing time spent in the rehearsal process, with a particular soft spot towards anything related to the ship. Rhys would like to thank his family and friends for always supporting him, and can’t wait for you all to see all of these incredible “Fathoms Below!”

Valorie Underwood Valorie Underwood is in 9th grade and is on the sound team. Her favorite show memory is watching the show come together! One of her hobbies is hanging out with friends!!

Rehearsal Tracks/Assistant Sound Engineer
Asher Barnes Asher loves doing sound for theatre because it is a challenge for him and he enjoys the people in it. He loves football, baseball, basketball, and hockey. You can always count on him to give you the full rundown on Kansas basketball. This is his second show at NHS. His sister Isabella is also in this show!

Microphone Manager/Assistant Sound Engineer
Kathryn Teasley Kathryn Teasley is in her freshman year and does sound in theater! One of her favorite memories during this show was when she fell of her chair while rolling down a walkway to answer the door for someone. Her hobbies include dancing and hanging out with her friends! She has been in last fall's show production of Macbeth and did sound for that as well. She says that even though sound can be difficult she loves the process and the memories she makes!

Lighting Engineer/Lighting Design
Will Brown William is excited to be a part of Disney’s The Little Mermaid at Nolensville High School. William is a sophomore, playing the role of Flounder, and is also the Lighting Designer. Along with theater he also participates in Wrestling, Cross Country, and is in our honors choir (Knights Chorale). William would like to thank his family for allowing him to commit to everything he does equally and cheering him on whether in an audience or the stands. He would also thank his fantastic directors. He hopes you all enjoy the show!

David FikDavid is so excited to embark on this spectacular adventure with you all. This is David's 7th show with Nolensville High School and he is so sad it is almost over. He has had the joy as serving as Set Foreman, Projection Designer, and Assistant Lighting Designer this show and can't wait for you all to see his work that he has done under the sea. Next year, David will be pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance and can't wait to dive in. Thank you all for coming and enjoy the show!!!

Anna Mandrell Anna Mandrell is a senior, and has been apart of the theater program for 3 years. She has been running the lights for shows since Our Town in her sophomore year. This year, she joined the new pit orchestra, playing both the upright and electric bass. She is very excited to perform and hopes you enjoy the show!

Di'Andre Ames Di’Andre is a junior and is the Set Designer and Percussionist in this years production of Disney’s Little Mermaid. It is his 3rd year designing in this department and has been playing percussion for 7 years. Di’Andre would like to thank his parents and the rest of his family for supporting his passions and talent in the work of art that is theater.

Janell Sami Janell Sami is involved in aset and lighting. The people she works with are a huge help. She’s very grateful for their support. She is lucky to have such great people around her. Her job would be much harder without them.

Leah AhanjLeah is a senior in high school with a love for the arts. Whether she’s dancing on stage or filming a performance, Leah thrives in creative expression. With a dedication to her craft, she enjoys performing simply for the joy it brings. She is thrilled to be a part of this production and thanks her family and friends for their encouragement and support.

Dramaturg in Training/Set Construction and Painting
Millie Dowling Millie loves every aspect of theater: on and off stage. Working in this vibrant show on set and stage always fills her with joy and excitement. Even if she dances in the back, has 1 line, or even works in the dark of the stage wings, her passion for theater drives her to make ever step, word, and brush stroke "breathe life", to quote Mrs. Parker. This love, she hopes, will fuel her further education in college and a future career.

Madeline MasonMadeline Mason is in 10th grade and has been doing dance for 12 years. For The Little Mermaid she helped to create the set. She also designed and constructed the puppets/eels, Flotsam and Jetsam.

Kaley KippKaley Kipp is a junior working on set crew. She loves to bake and has worked set for Mary Poppins. Her favorite memory is watching Step in Time backstage for Mary Poppins.

Grant MooreGrant is super excited for this production of the Little Mermaid. He is so proud of the cast and technicians hard work and can’t wait for you to venture under the sea! Grant has been involved in theatre since elementary school and is grateful for the opportunity to grow as a creative in helping build the set for this show. While he normally acts, he has been so inspired by the entire set crew's dedication and passion in helping bring to life the Disney magic through the scenery.

Mason Adolf Mason is a senior in high school and very excited to working as co-leader of props. Mason is going to attend UTC after high school and study environmental science. Mason is very glad to be doing The Little Mermaid as his final show!

Cara ToenniesCara is a senior and one of the props managers. She enjoys reading and playing video games with friends. Her favorite theater memory is the senior-directed one-act plays. Cara often spends her weekends immersed in books, which inspire her creativity. Additionally, she loves collaborating with her peers to bring productions to life. The camaraderie that were built during rehearsals has made her high school experience truly memorable.

Bella Barnes Bella is absolutely thrilled to be in this spring’s production of The Little Mermaid! She has been involved in theater for 7 years and is so excited to be portraying Jetsam this show! She has also really enjoyed getting to know her cast and crew mates and has appreciated being able to learn even more about the acting/technical aspects of theater along the way. She has had so much fun being apart of this spectacular show and cannot wait to perform it!

Kaleigh MullShe started theatre in elementary school with Annie and did theatre a little in middle school. Her favorite show is The Wiz! She is a gymnast and loves to read. She is beyond grateful to be a part of this show and has loved getting back on stage for her senior year with her best friends!

James Tomlin James Tomlin is a freshman and is so excited to be in The Little Mermaid. This is his 7th show he has been in. He is on publicity crew in this show. He is so excited to be making new friends through this show.

Juliette DiMiceliJuliette is ecstatic to be a part of The Little Mermaid! This is her second year doing theatre at Nolensville. She plays a princess in this show but you may have also seen her in shows like Mary Poppins or Macbeth. She is also excited to say that this is her first show as head costume designer at Nolensville! She cannot wait for everyone to see all the hard work that has been put into this beautiful show!

Phoebe BoughtonPhoebe is so excited to be a part of The Little Mermaid! She is the assistant costume designer and plays the role of Adella. You might have seen her in shows like Macbeth, Mary Poppins, or The Little Prince. She cannot wait to share this story with you all!

Ava PoseyAva is a freshman and her roles in this show are ensemble and costume designer in training. Her favorite show memory is meeting new people.

Head Stitcher
Layla GrayLayla is having so much fun on the acting side of this production after being on tech during Macbeth! Layla is a featured tap dancer in the show and is also the Head Stitcher on the costume team! She is so excited to perform in one of her dream shows and is looking forward to sharing this story with you!

Kristyn DunnKristyn is a junior at Nolensville and has been doing theatre for 8 years! She is so excited to be playing Allana the mersister, tap dancing as a gull, leading the publicity crew, and helping with costume management for The Little Mermaid. She says this show has been super fun to work on and has taught her a lot about sewing and costume creation. She'd like to thank her parents, her sisters, her directors, and her friends for being her biggest inspirations.

Eliana Kaplan Ellie is thrilled to be part of this magical production of The Little Mermaid where she gets to look into multiple roles as a sea creature, maid, and tentacle! Plus, she's also the assistant costume manager, helping bring the under-the-sea world to life. One thing she loves about this production is the incredible teamwork and creativity everyone brings to the table. Being part of this show has really helped her grow as an actor by pushing her to explore different characters and work behind the scenes.

Claire Cunningham Claire has had so much fun in costumes as a sticher. Costumes has been such a good environment and it has been so much fun to practice sewing. She has loved helping out with this show and can’t wait to do more in the future.

Hair and Makeup Designer
Megan Phillips Megan Phillips is in 11th grade and has loved being a committed part of this ensemble during her time in theatre. As well as preforming on stage, she has worked behind the scenes to help design and create the hair and makeup for the show with her trusted team. She has loved being able to let her passion for the arts and theatre shine through in her designs and is so grateful to be able to work with such a dedicated and talented cast and crew.

Luke SpiveyLuke Spivey plays a seagull, a sailor, a chef, and a sea creature. He is also part of the hair and makeup department and he loves it. His favorite thing about NHS theater is the community. His favorite thing about his roles is that he gets to dance in a lot of them.

Kayla HanslowKayla is a junior here at Nolensville. She is so excited to be apart of this production of the Little Mermaid! She has been doing musical theatre and choir since elementary school and is so happy that she has been able to join the Nolensville High School theatre community these past years! She has had many on stage roles in this production and also worked with some of the technical elements including Hair and Makeup and the Little Mermaid Ocean Conservation Project. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Izzie FordIzzie is a freshman who plays a dancing fish. She enjoys theater and would like to pursue it for as long as possible in her life. Singing, dancing, and acting all offer fulfillment in her life. She has been doing theater since she was in 4th grade. Her favorite number to be in for this show is Under the Sea.

Lindsey KinsmanLindsey is a Sophomore at Nolensville High School. This is her 4th show that she has been involved with. She does the data entry into the website on the publicity team! She cannot wait for this show!

Violin
Brooke HardenBrooke is the concertmaster of the string orchestra at NHS, and is honored and excited to be serving in this role for the school’s first pit orchestra as well! She has been playing violin since 6th grade, and enjoys playing in many different styles and ensembles. After she graduates this spring, she will be spending the next four years continuing her musical studies at Belmont University.

Livia HugginsLivia is a freshman and has played the violin since she was three years old. Over her twelve years of playing violin, she has developed a deep passion for music and enjoys every opportunity she gets to share the gift of music with others. She is currently studying with a music professor at Vanderbilt University. Through her musical journey, Livia has enjoyed participating in many local orchestras and is excited for this new ensemble experience!

Adelyn HugginsAdelyn is in her junior year and has a passion for the violin. She has been playing for 12 years and currently studies at Blair School of Music. She hopes to minor in music in college and continue pursuing her love for the instrument. Outside of music, she enjoys playing tennis, selling handmade bracelets in her Etsy shop, and spending time with family and friends. Adelyn is excited to be part of the pit orchestra for The Little Mermaid and collaborate with the theater!

Violin
Hailey GrantHailey is a sophomore at Nolensville High School. When she's not practicing the 140 pages of sheet music for the Little Mermaid, she likes to read, sing, and hangout with her friends and family. Her favorite memory in the pit is when, after rehearsing all the way through a song, one of the pit members suddenly asked, "Wait, this song is in B minor?!" She has made so many memories through the theater program and is so grateful for her parents who have supported her through everything she's decided to do. She loves playing the violin and is so excited to be a part of the 2025 Nolensville Pit Orchestra!

Cello
Ethan OhEthan Oh is the Principal Cellist at the Nolensville Honors Orchestra. He has also partaken in several other orchestras such as All-State Orchestra and Vanderbilt's Curb Youth Symphony. Having played the cello for 7 years, he will pursue music in college.

Flute
Katie Sha Katie Sha is a freshman. Outside of pit orchestra, she’s involved with Student Council, Wind Ensemble, marching band, swimming, and Belmont’s youth choir. She will be playing flute, piccolo, and alto flute in the show. She’s so excited for you to see it!

Clarinet
Madeleine YoungMadeleine is a freshman and has played clarinet for about four years. She's had lots of fun rehearsing in the pit orchestra and hasn't been a part of something like this before. She loves hearing the pit orchestra when she sees Broadway musicals and now she's a part of (a mini) one.

Saxophone
Eric YoungkinsEric is a senior saxophone player in the Nolensville Wind Ensemble. This show marks his first time performing with the Nolensville theater department. In the pit orchestra, he plays the soprano, alto, and tenor saxophone.

Oboe
London FluegelI am the oboist in the pit orchestra and I’m so excited to be apart of the pit orchestra in The Little Mermaid. I am only a freshman but I love playing the oboe and even hope to be a musician far into the future. I hope you can hear my instrument in the orchestra and enjoy listening to the beautiful sound as much as I do!

Horn
Sofia JensenSofia has been a part of multiple aspects of the Nolensville theater program starting her sophomore year. She acted in Les Miserables and was involved with costumes and tech for Mary Poppins. She is excited to play horn in Nolensville’s first pit orchestra for The Little Mermaid! Sofia treasures the memories and inside jokes made while rehearsing with the pit and is so grateful for this opportunity. She is a senior and will be attending Brigham Young University in the fall, studying music education. She would like to give a special thanks to directors Cassidy Van Amburg and Michael Gagliardo for being such a big part of her life and inspiring her to pursue music education like them!

Molly HackettMolly Hackett is a sophomore at Nolensville High School and is in her fifth year of band. She plays the french horn and she is in Nolensville’s Wind Ensemble. She is so excited to be a part of Nolensville’s first pit and she would like to thank her family, friends, directors, and Mr. Gagliardo for this amazing opportunity!

Trumpet
Allison JonesAlli Jones is a senior and plays trumpet in the pit orchestra. She is also a trumpet player in the wind ensemble and serves as a section leader in the marching band. You’ve probably seen her around during football season in the stands with the marching band, doing trombone slide slicers, or hanging around the halls with a tenor sax. With years of experience on the trumpet, Alli has developed a deep love for music, which is her main hobby. She plans to major in music performance and composition and is excited to contribute to the orchestra’s performance while sharing her passion for music.

William StephensonWilliam is a senior and this is his first experience with theatre. He is playing trumpet and flugelhorn in the pit orchestra. He has played for 7 years and is very excited for this opportunity. He would like to thank his friends and family and hopes you enjoy the show!

Lucas RydlundLucas is the Assistant Percussionist and helps out the aux and drum set players. He's been a player in percussion for a year. He also plays bass and is a founder of one of the school’s music groups. He’d like to thank his percussionist friends for teaching him so many things.

Buck RobesonBuck plays the drumset and is an extra aux player for Nolensville percussion pit. He is also a percussionist for Nolensville High School Band and Marching Band. He's been playing drums for 6 years and has been a part of the band program for 2.

Claire StreetClaire is a sophomore and she has the roles of a jellyfish and a flamingo. Her favorite show memories are making costumes with all of her costume friends! Claire’s favorite hobbies are shopping, hanging out with friends, and reading! She has done over 10 shows in her theater career.

Lily NewellLily is a freshman at Nolensville! This is her first show in high school but she did theater in middle school! She says it’s been a blast working with everyone and it’s such a great community to be in. She's made so many new friends and hopes to make more! She is really excited to do more shows!

Vanessa SutherlandVanessa has learned so much since being in The Little Mermaid! From being in tap, making props out of paper mache, and organizing a whole closet, she is more than happy to perform! Vanessa loves the friends she has made a long the way and can’t wait to see what y’all think!

Stella BaumanThis is Stella’s first show with Nolensville. She has previously been a part of Mill Creek Musical Theatre in shows like Shrek, Xanadu, and more! She is featured in The Little Mermaid as a Princess and is a part of the costume team. She is so excited to be a part of it and share this story with you!

Caroline CochranCaroline is thrilled to be a part of this production! This is her first show with Nolensville High School's theater program. Some of her past performances include Shrek the musical through Star Bright and Freaky Friday through CYT. A huge thank you to the cast, crew, and everyone who contributed to make this show happen. She gets to bring a fun, playful character to life and it’s such a joy to interact with the talented cast on stage. Working on the costume team is equally exciting, as she gets to design and create magical, underwater-inspired outfits that really help the show come alive!

Brayden PerryBrayden is very excited to be presenting this showing of The Little Mermaid, as he is with all the shows performed by NHS Theatre! His prior experiences include musicals like Mary Poppins and Les Miserables, plays such as Macbeth, and a number of other shorter productions like Mrs. Parker’s own original one act See You Soon. He can’t wait for you to see this amazing piece of art that the theatre department has poured so much effort into!

Abbi DickersonAbbi Dickerson is in 9th grade. She is a prop fish and a tentacle. Her favorite show memory is learning all of the dances. Some of her hobbies other than theater are painting, drawing, and baking. She has been involved in theater at school since 5th grade.

Previously, she has been an Alabama Lamb in Big Fish and performed in the Showtime Musical Review and its holiday edition in Blountville, TN. Her favorite memory on stage was performing with her cousin in their first musical together.

Aviana EdwardsAviana is in 9th grade and has done theatre for a while. She is in the ensemble and plays a prop fish and one of Ursula’s tentacles. Although she is new to Nolensville, she says it was easy to adapt to the environment because of the friendly people and amazing director. She has been in theatre since middle school and has done many technical and acting roles. Her favorite things to do are designing set and costumes.
