About Big Shot

Join us for an unforgettable evening on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 6pm, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Long Island High School for the Arts with an original production: "Big Shot", a story told through dance set to the music of Billy Joel.  This original production was developed and choreographed by LIHSA faculty members L’aura Bagdziunas (Dance) and Chris Brick (Musical Theatre). Don’t miss this incredible, one night only event, as we commemorate five decades of artistic excellence at LIHSA, nurturing young talents to realize their full creative potential, and recognizing, with gratitude, the tremendous impact of the support of The Joel Foundation in helping to shape the next generation of artists on Long Island.
