About the Show

Puffs (or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic) is a clever and fast-paced comedy that reimagines a familiar wizarding world from a completely different point of view. While a certain famous hero takes center stage elsewhere, this story follows the Puffs — a group of kind-hearted, loyal, and often overlooked students who are just trying to make it through magic school without getting blown up, cursed, or completely forgotten.

Told over the course of seven chaotic years, the play blends parody, physical comedy, and heartfelt moments as the Puffs face dark wizards, strange creatures, and their own insecurities. With a flexible ensemble cast, quick character changes, and a playful theatrical style, Puffs creates a world where imagination drives the storytelling and humor comes from both the absurd and the relatable.

At its core, Puffs is about friendship, belonging, and finding your place—even if you’re not the chosen one. It celebrates the underdogs, the background characters, and the people who don’t always win, reminding us that being brave, kind, and true to yourself is its own kind of magic.
