Still Life with Iris Cast

Belmont Phelps is a freshman at the W and majors in political science. She performed often in both plays and musicals in high school, along with participating in many state-wide competitions. Belmont is so excited to be sharing this amazing show with everyone who comes.

Duncan Stanley (22) is a student at Mississippi State University and is involved with Theatre MSU. Since 2019 he’s performed shows in Starkville, Tupelo, Pearl, and now Columbus! His favorite role he’s played was Spike in Christopher Durang’s Sonya & Vanya.

Kala Morris is a senior at Mississippi State University studying Food Science, but she has been involved in collegiate theatre since her freshman year; she is excited to appear in MUW’s production of Still Life with Iris as Mom/Miss Overlook. Some of her favorite recent roles have included being a Weird Sister in MSU’s production of Macbeth and the lead character, John Wesley Powell, in Men on Boats, also at MSU. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games and baking treats for her friends.

Elizabeth Holland is a junior at Mississippi University for Women majoring in Psychology. She plays soccer for the university’s team and is in Maskers Social Club. This is Elizabeth’s first acting role for Mississippi University for Women. She would like to thank her family and husband for being supportive of her endeavors.

Anna is a 2016 graduate and alumni of MUW. She is married to her husband, Webb, and has two children, Connor and Kara. Anna fell in love with theatre in middle school and has enjoyed it ever since. She has acted in various church and school plays, including One Acts here at the W.

Brittany started her theater journey in 2019 as a crew member at Starkville Community Theater(SCT). There she meet many wonderful people and has performed in numerous plays including Anne and Emmett, where she played the role of Maine Till. Currently, she sits on the Board of Directors at SCT.

Kelly is originally from Corinth Mississippi. Now she is a junior at the Mississippi University for Women studying creative writing. This is her first ever production experience at college. Kelly has been involved with community theatre in the past, which is where she fell in love with theatre in the first place. In her spare time she loves reading, writing, and drinking coffee.

Jordan Jenkins is from Philadelphia, MS. She is a senior at MUW currently majoring in theatre. Jordan's hobbies are hanging out with friends and singing.

Karen Calzadilla is a sophomore nursing major from Forest, MS. She has been in one other production in high school. She is really excited for y’all to enjoy our show!
