Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears.

Junior University of San Bernardino was the brainchild of William R. Dixon and Robert Henley.  For more than 60 years, Junior University has been entertaining families of the Inland Empire with their musical theater productions.  Our organization welcomes performers as young as 9 years old with limited training and performance experience.  Junior University alumni have used the talents they developed to perform with San Bernardino Valley College, Life House Theater, Redlands Bowl, Chino's Seventh Street Theater, Chino Community Children's Theater, Theatrical Arts International, and Disney.  Our technical wizards have worked behind the scenes with California State University San Bernardino, Terrace View Middle School, Jurupa Hills High School, California Baptist University, Looking Glass Studio of Performing Arts, San Bernardino City Unified School District, and Aquinas High School to name just a few.
