Dr. Switzer founded the HCC Guitar Series at the Dale Mabry Campus, and continues as an artistic director since the inaugural 2000-2001 concert season. He is a full-time Music Professor for the college.

A lifelong lover of classical music and especially guitar, Professor Pantelis became an artistic director of the HCC Guitar Series at the Dale Mabry Campus nearly 20 years ago. She is a full-time Math Professor for the college.

Dr. Long is a retired HCC Professor of History, Emeritus, and founded the guitar series along with Dr. Switzer, in 2000. He remains an advisor to the guitar series to this day earning him his guitar series title.
