Elf The Musical Cast

Ryan has never done anything to this scale and is crazy for trying this role. He hopes you enjoy as much as he is terrified :) If we're all lucky this will be the best experience of our lives. And if not, then at least you get to laugh at him.

Allegra is delighted to be a part of this cast and sharing the stage with her two amazing kiddos! She is the Executive Director of HCT and a familiar face in Kaua'i's theater scene. You may have seen her as Miss Honey in "Matilda the Musical", Mary Poppins in "Mary Poppins", or Maria in "Sound of Music". Thank you for your support of Kaua'i's theater community! Beyond Tom's loves to perform with his family. Beyond Tom's love to perform is his love to perform with his family. He is delighted to be on stage with his wife Gaylen (Emily), son Connor (Ensemble) and Soren (Elf). Tom was Mr. Mayor in HCT's production of "Seussical" last year and loves this wonderful program on Kauaʻi. In 2023 you may have also seen Tom as the Narrator in KCC”s "Siddhartha: Seeker of Truth,” in KCP’s "All I Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten,” or as Falstaff in Storybook Theater’s "Shakespeare Birthday Celebration."

Gaylen Worthen was last seen with HCT in “Seussical” as the Cat in the Hat. She also recently performed with KCP as Sharon in "The Roommate," Hayley in "Mamma Won’t Fly,” and Kathleen in “All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten.” Gaylen is tickled to play a married couple with her "real life" husband Tom and loves having rehearsals with her children who are also in Elf. When not on stage, you will often find Gaylen renovating a home in Hanapepe or running the trails of Sleeping Giant. Because of this adorable musical, Gaylen has happily had an excuse to be singing Christmas carols for months!!!

Asher is eleven years old and tries to be in as many plays as he can. You may have seen him in HCTʻs "Seussical" as Jojo, KCP's "All MySons” as Bert and in HCT's "Once on this Island, Jr." and "Aristocats, KIDS". Asher loves to tap dance! He is so excited to perform for you!

Marjorie is 14 years old and is attending Kapaa High School. Marjorie’s favorite things to do are sing and put on musicals. Marjorie’s first musical started in 3rd grade at Kilauea Elementary School with Lion King Junior. Then Marjorie got a role as the Duke of Weselton in frozen junior. As Marjorie got older she performed as Little Red Riding Hood in "Into the Woods" in Georgia. Marjorie is so excited that she gets the opportunity to be in HCT this year. After an extended hiatus from the stage, Alan steps into his adult debut role as Santa. While his formative years on Long Island exposed him to numerous Broadway spectacles during his schooling, the majority of his adult life spent in West Virginia left scant room for pursuing his theatrical passion. Instead, he dedicated his time to the legal profession and later delved into the realm of social work. Relocating to Kauai alongside his family three years ago, Alan observed the sheer delight his daughter Samantha derived from her involvement in the Summer Stars program. This experience ignited his own enthusiasm, propelling him to enthusiastically embrace a role in this production.

This is Mahina’s first production back home on Kaua’i as a Lawrence University graduate. You may recognize them in past roles such as Race in "Newsies", Esmeralda in "Hunchback", Pugsley in "Addams Family", or Otto in "Spring Awakening". Mahina is excited to perform with HCT once again to bring their family’s favorite Christmas movie to the stage!

Max is thrilled to be walking the boards for another Fall Show! After playing the role of Horton in last year's "Seussical: the Musical," and serving as Assistant Director for this year's HCT After Dark production of "Heathers: The Musical," Max is more excited than ever to be acting alongside his best friend on Earth, as well as the best niece and nephew a weirdo "hanai" uncle could ask for! He hopes you enjoy the show!

Ron Soderstrom is what you may call a Renaissance Man. Exploring life through the Performing Arts. Practices in Mindfulness and Hypnotherapy. As well as multitudes of other methods to increase our overall physical, mental, and emotional health. Theatre gives the opportunity to dive in wholeheartedly to many of these realms. So don’t be surprised to see him time and time again enjoying it for all it’s worth!

Jim has had the privilege of appearing in many productions on Kauai, after having been introduced to the theatre community years ago by his (much more) talented wife, Melissa. He is especially excited for this show, because it will be the first time appearing in the same production as his (much more) talented son, Finnegan! Jim very much hopes you will enjoy this show, as well as all the future ones you will be attending (hint!)

Margaret is 17 and has been doing HCT for about 9 years now and has done other products you might have seen like "Heathers the Musical" as Heather Duke "Seussical the Musical" as a bird girl and "Siddhartha" in the dance ensemble. Margaret loves theater and all of the people in it. She cant wait for the next play she'll be in.

Fia is 13 years old and is so excited to be in "Elf!" She has done numerous other fall shows like "Matilda", "Seussical”, and way more! She’s also participated in HCT’s Summer Stars shows for longer than she can remember. She loves to dance, act, and sing in theater and out. She’s worked really hard and hopes you enjoy!!

Lasaya is 13 years old, and it’s her very first time performing with HCT! You may have seen her in KCC’s “Siddhartha: Seeker of Truth”, which was her first musical. She loves to sing, and play ukulele. She is so excited to do her favorite thing for all of you: performing!

Cheyenne is thrilled to be in “Elf the Musical!” She loves dogs and old movies.

The name is Rover Ray Roa, a 13 year old! Feel free to call him Rover or RR, a nickname family and friends call him. This is his first time joining the HCT program and is very excited to perform. He loves spending time with friends, dancing to Kpop and is very joyful and energetic! Rover wants everyone to enjoy the show and he hopes everyone will join him on his journey starting on “Elf the Musical”!

Jazzmine is 12 years old and is super exited to be part of “Elf The Musical!” Jazzmine has participated in the past 5 years of HCT’s summer program but this is her first fall show. Besides musical theater Jazzmine participates in dance, voice lessons, and piano, and she loves the preforming arts in general!

Jacy Burris is 12 years old and has done 7 productions with HCT, this will be her 8th. Her favorite musical she was in was "Seussical" and her favorite role she has played was Dory in "Finding Nemo Jr." Jacy has done dance for 8 years at multiple studios. When Jacy is not in a show or in school she is most likely hanging out with her best friends or listing to Taylor Swift (#swiftiesforlife!!!) enjoy the show!

Tristan Fiorovich is an experienced musical theatre performer. Some shows that he has been in includes "Suessical" as a Wickersham brother, "Once on this Island Jr." as Daniel, as well as "Aristocats Jr." as Thomas O'Malley. He dances with Miss Carol's Dance Academy, avidly plays the piano, as well as composes songs.

This is Leticia's (Also known as Letty), first time performing with HCT! You may have seen her in KCC'S "Siddhartha: Seeker of Truth", and you may see 2 out of 5 of her children performing alongside her in "Elf" as well! (Lasaya and Nezahlea.) She has loved to sing and dance her entire life, and has also won the title of "Mrs. Kauai Filipina 2013". She is very excited to perform for you all!

Adam is a 12 year old student who has been in as many musicals as he could. You might have seen him in "Seussical" as a Wickersham or in "Finding Nemo Jr." as Marlin. He is happy to be in another show and hopes you enjoy it.

Judy-Ann is 24 yrs old and she is very excited to be part of her very first production in HCT. She did only 2 production shows in KPAC when she was a senior in Kauai High School. You may have seen her in KCC’s musical production "Siddhartha: Seeker Of Truth.” She always loves theater, she dances Hip-Hop and R&B in Sire's Dance Class with her friends at Kauai Athletic Club. She also loves making videos for her YouTube Channel, and importantly she loves her family and friends.

Caitlin is 14-years-old, and she is a freshman at Kaua’i High School. She participated in HCT since she was 5-years-old. Along with performing in seven productions with HCT, she also has performed in two high school KPAC productions, and most recently, one KCC production. You may have seen Caitlin as Mrs. Potts in "Beauty and the Beast Jr.," Ti Moune in "Once On This Island Jr.," and Mayzie La Bird in "Seussical." She recently attended a summer intensive at the Institute of American Musical Theatre in New York, and she is looking forward to performing in "Elf the Musical!"

Connor is a Junior at Hawaii Technology Academy. He is the current state winner for VFW’s Voice of Democracy Essay Contest (first Kauai winner ever since it started in 1947) and represented Hawaii in Washington DC. He also is the Kauai winner for Poetry Outloud for 2021 and 2022. Connor most recently was in KCC’s production of “Siddhartha: Seeker of Truth” and played Prince Hal in Hanapepe’s Storybook Theater’s Shakespeare’s pro-duction of “Henry IV.” He is also the Boatswain for the Kauai Sea Scouts. Connor has his own personal collection of Christmas sweaters and has loved being in “Elf” with this fabulous cast.

This is Starlee's second performance with HCT. She is 14 years old and is a Freshman at Kapaa High School. She was in Kilauea Elementary School's "Frozen Jr" in the Snow Chorus when she was in the 5th grade. Her first performance with HCT was in last years "Seussical" as a Jungle Citizen. She also does hula and would like to play volleyball in high school. She hopes you enjoy her performance in this year's Elf the Musical!

Hi’ilei is 11 years old. This is her third production with Hawaii Children’s Theatre. You may have seen her as a Jungle Citizen in “Seussical”, or as Asaka, Mother of the Earth in “Once on this Island, Jr.”. Hi’ilei is a model, she has done campaign editorials, as well as participated in multiple fashion shows including productions in both New York and LA fashion week. She’s had a principal role in the Hallmark Movie, “Hidden Gems.” Presently she is taking singing lessons and continues into her ninth year of dancing hula. Hi’ilei is enjoying her experience in “Elf the Musical.”

Samantha "Sam" is 11 years old and loves to dance, sing and act. She appeared in HCT'S Finding Nemo, Jr and Once on This Island, Jr. Sam takes dance lessons with Carol Culver Dance Academy, Dance Fusion Studios with Amanda Tanigawa and vocal lessons with Dolly Kanekuni. She has a passion for the performing arts and is grateful for the opportunity to perform and grow with HCT! In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and puppies Bebe and Mr. Pickles.

Halley Robert is 11 years old. She enjoys being with her friends and listening to music. She is also in the band "Fill in the Blank." This is her third performance with HCT. She has been in "Seussical" and "Finding Nemo Jr." She hopes to do even more theater in the future and hopes to be in New York one day!

Finnegan has done many plays, skits and shows; however, this is only his 2nd fall show, his first being "Seussical" as a Wickersham Brother. He is excited but a little nervous. He was last seen as Chum in "Finding Nemo, Jr." and as the Dragon King in the Summer Stars AM Showcase. Finn enjoys tap dancing and hopes you enjoy the show!

Sydney Allen is 11 years old and while this is her first year at HCT, she is not new to the stage. You may have seen her as Cruella in Kalaheo Schools fall perfor-mance of “101 Dalmatians” last year. Or, during their spring production when she played Ladahlord in “James and the Giant Peach”. When she’s not on a stage, you can find Syd recording makeup tutorials, or fostering kittens from the Kauaʻi Humane Society. Wherever Sydney goes she brings her energy and spunk with and she’s excited to be a part of the HCT family!

Nezahlea (also known as Nezah), is 8 years old, and it’s her very first time performing with HCT! She sings, dances multiple genres, and loves to perform all the time! She would also like to succeed more in the pageant world, as she has already won the title of the very first “2022 Lil’ Miss Hawaii Filipina 1st Princess”, and would love to keep working hard to achieve more. She’s very excited to entertain you all and be in her very first musical!

Marley is a talented and spirited 10-year-old with an unbridled passion for singing, dancing and talking story. With a heart full of music and boundless energy, Marley's infectious enthusiasm lights up every room she enters. Her love for singing is as natural as breathing. Marley loves all forms of story telling and has especially enjoyed her time acting with the Hawaii Children's Theater Summer Stars program where she performed in "Adventure Theater" and "Finding Nemo Jr." As Marley continues to pursue her passion for singing, dancing, and performing, there's no doubt that she'll leave a trail of smiles and laughter wherever she goes.

Ashlynn is 11 years old and is excited to once again perform on stage with HCT. You may have seen her as a Who in last years fall show “Seussical” or up on stage with her Summer Stars cast. Dancing and acting are Ashlynn’s passion along with connecting with the other cast members. She is looking forward to another amazing production with Hawaii Children’s Theatre!

Vivi is so excited to be in her first production for HCT! A perpetual nice-lister and a true lover of elf culture and all things Christmas, she can’t wait to harness her inner Taylor Swift, don a pair of tights and spread some Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear! Congratulate her after the show- she’ll put in a good word with the big man for ya.

Freya was born and raised on Kauai and danced before she learned to walk. She started ballet at 3 years old and has taken jazz and tap for over a year. This summer was her second season with HCT Summer camp. A natural born performer, she looks for any opportunity to put on a show.

Dakota was born and raised on Kaua'i and is 9 years old. This is her acting debut. Dakota loves to sing and dance with her friends and surfing and fishing are her favorite hobbies. She is very excited to see where the theatre world takes her.

Rhys Bryant is ten years old and started with HCT in the summer of 2022 as part of the Summer Stars program. His first summer was such a blast that he joined the Summer Stars again this last summer, performing in the AM & PM shows. Rhys loves reading, building in his Minecraft world, and learning new things (Pickleball most recently) when he has free time.

Violet is in 5th grade at Alaka’i O Kaua’i. Past roles in HCT shows are Thing 1 in “Suessical” and Squirt in Summer Stars “Finding Nemo”. She dances ballet, jazz, and contemporary at Koloa Dance House and loves animals and surfing.

Reece is 12 years old and this is his first time with HCT but not his first time on stage. He is his happiest when he can perform, change characters, act as a team and make others smile! Over the past 3 years, Reece has been on multiple stages, on Kaua’i and the Mainland, behind the scenes and in-front, which led him to discover his new love for musicals. He is excited to be part of the Elf’s and the fun, talented community that HCT is!

Soren is 7th grader at HTA and has been In the musical "Siddhartha Seeker of Truth." They enjoy playing video games, playing bass guitar, and programming on the computer.

Aurora is thrilled to be part of the cast of “Elf the Musical” with Hawaii Children’s Theatre. She is 9 years old and born and raised on Kauai. She loves singing, dancing, acting, and enjoys being part of any performance on a stage. She has been singing on stage for the past 2 years. You may have heard her in solo vocal performances for Mele Pu’uhonua. Aurora has danced for the past 6 years and performed in various on-stage productions including the "Nutcracker" and "Sleeping Beauty" performances at the Kauai War Memorial this past year. When she is not on stage, she enjoys piano, surfing, swimming, tennis, soccer, and playing with her friends. She is excited to see you at the show!

Ululena Vincent is a haumana in Papa ʻEhā at Kawaikini NCPCS. Ululena enjoys dancing, singing, and acting, and really loves performing everything she learns in stage productions and showcases. She is also active with hoe waʻa, gymnastics, and violin. Ululena loves art; she really likes learning new painting and drawing techniques and about different art mediums, but also likes using things found in nature to create unique art pieces. When she’s not busy with activities, Ululena LOVES going to the beach with her ‘ohana and would be there all day, everyday if she could! Ululena really enjoys participating in HCT’s Summer Stars every year, and had a blast in last year’s Fall show, “Seussical”. She is so excited to be in “Elf” and to share Buddy’s story with all of you!

GraceJoy is 10 years old and is in 5th grade at Hanalei Elementary school. She is proud to be a part of the HCT family and has been for half of her life! At 5 years old, she joined her first Summer Stars program. Last year, she was cast in her first Fall production as Thing 1 in Suesical. GraceJoy is an abuse singer, dancer and is on a gymnastics team. She truly enjoys everything about theater and performing, especially the camaraderie.

Maile Love is 11 years old and she is thrilled to be performing for her second time with Hawaii Children’s Theater. She was a Who in "Seussical the Musical" last fall, and then went on to be Tiny Mouse in "Winnie the Pooh" for Island School’s 5th grade play. Maile loves to perform on stage. She loves acting, singing, dancing, baking, being funny, creating art, going on adventures, her cat Chester, and hanging out all her loving friends. She is honored to be a part of the "Elf" cast!

Anna is 9 years old and she is in 4th grade. She has loved to dance and sing since she was 2 years old. At 5 Anna performed in her first Summer Stars Gala. She was seen in "Once on This Island, Jr.” and as Tad in “Finding Nemo, Jr.” Anna is bilingual and speaks Polish. She is taking voice and dance classes. Anna is thrilled to be a part of the “Elf the Musical” cast.

Jackson is 11 years old and attends sixth grade at Hanalei Elementary School. "Elf the Musical" will be Jackson’s fourth Hawaii Children’s Theater production. He loves to sing, dance and engage with the audience, as you may have seen in his last role as Nemo in "Finding Nemo Jr." When Jackson isn’t on stage he is spending time reading, studying, gaming, and time with family, which includes his dog Lotus. He is excited to see "Elf" come alive for you! "

Alivia loves theater, gymnastics, tap dance, jazz, and all sorts of other activities. She is very athletic, creative, fun and friendly. Alivia is 9 years old, loves the color purple and loves doing backflips and tricks on the trampoline.
