Tumanyanelu Agogbuo (u/s Susan) (they/she) is an actor based out of the DMV area operating primarily throughout the East Coast. Their most recent production includes Alice by Heart with Wildwood Summer Theater where they played the Queen of Hearts, but her performance history spans several years. She's also had the pleasure of directing numbers from Twisted and Be More Chill. Tumanyanelu also works for The Murder Mystery Company, an immersive theater company focused primarily on creating interactive mysteries for private and public events across the country. Sam Intrater (Michael (u/s))
Sam Intrater (u/s Michael) (he/him) is thrilled to be doing his first show with Greenbelt Arts Center! He has a Bachelor’s degree in theatre from the University of Maryland and is pursuing his Master’s degree in Social Work, also from the University of Maryland. He plans to live a double life as an actor and therapist, like Batman if his parents had lived and were supportive of his artistic endeavors. Television credits include Hustlers Gamblers Crooks (Discovery Channel). DMV theatre credits include On National Road (EC250), Camelot (Landless Theatre), The Lightning Thief (Wildwood Summer Theatre), Falsettos (Montgomery College Summer Dinner Theatre). Kainoa Jayce (Jon (u/s))
Kainoa Jayce (u/s Jon) (he/him) is a multi-hyphenate performing and literary artist and educator from Prince George’s County, MD. He is honored to be making his GAC debut in this hilariously and heart-wrenchingly introspective snapshot from a true contemporary theatre legend. Regional: Romeo & Juliet (Peter, u/s Benvolio) at Chesapeake Shakespeare Company directed by Gerrad Alex Taylor; Alice by Heart (Alfred Hallam/White Rabbit) at Wildwood Summer Theatre directed by Margo Myst McCready. Kainoa studied under the Acting program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where credits include Small Mouth Sounds (Teacher), You Can See Me in the Dark and The Grown-Up. Michael McCarthy (Jon)
Michael McCarthy (Jon) (he/him) is honored to be performing with Greenbelt Arts Center for the second time after featuring in the role of Jack in their production in The Importance of Being Earnest last year. Other credits include Thomas Putnam/John Willard in The Crucible (Dominion Stage), Giuseppe Zangara in Assassins (Silver Spring Stage), Ensemble/Monty (u/s) in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Victorian Lyric Opera Company) and JD in Heathers (Rockville Musical Theatre). Michael earned a Bachelor’s in Music with an Outside Field in Music from Ithaca College. He couldn’t imagine a more fitting way to prepare for his own upcoming 30th birthday than the opportunity to bring to life the excitement and the trepidation of the legendary Jonathan Larson’s “pre-midlife crisis” onstage alongside this amazing cast and team!
Dylan Nicholson (Michael)
Dylan Nicholson (Michael) (he/him) is a professional actor operating in the DMV area. His recent stage performances, many of which come from American University include Urinetown: The Musical (American University), Daughters of Leda, Lost Girl, Cabaret, and more! In addition to the stage, he's done a good share of screen and vocal performances too lately! He'd like to thank his mom for being his biggest fan since day one of his acting journey, his stepdad for teaching him everything he knows, his three sisters, the rest of his family and friends, and the cast and crew for continuing to inspire and challenge him personally and artistically.
Elizabeth Suzanne (Susan)
Elizabeth Suzanne (Susan) is pleased to return to acting in musical theater with this much loved show and role after a long hiatus from performing. Favorite roles have been Elinor (Sense & Sensibility), Petruchia (The Taming of the Shrew: Reversed), Blanche Barrow (Bonnie & Clyde), and Vivienne (Legally Blonde). In addition to acting, Elizabeth is a director (Little Women, TAP), puppeteer (Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins, CFTC), stage manager (Deaf West Theatre), and playwright (Kennedy Center Theatre Festival Awards).
