Little Women: The Broadway Musical Creative

Director/Forum Faculty Advisor
Christine ThompsonChristine Thompson is MLC’s Forum faculty advisor. She fell in love with theatre while studying at Wisconsin Lutheran College and then went on to get her MA in Theatre Arts from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She is also a counselor-in-training in Bethany Lutheran College's Clinical Counseling program. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented and supportive cast, crew, and staff.

Assistant Director
Gretchen LuchtGretchen Lucht is a senior from Antigo, Wisconsin, with a double major in elementary education and secondary English education. She has been involved with MLC’s forum in various roles, staying out of the stage lights. She extends a huge thank you to the cast, the crews, her family, and most importantly YOU for supporting everyone involved with the show.

Music Director
Kathryn WursterNow in her 8th production as Music Director, Kathy Wurster holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. She serves as a vocal instructor at Martin Luther College, teaching voice and pedagogy. She is thankful for this amazing cast and the support from her family.

Orchestra Director
Dr. Miles WursterDr. Wurster is a passionate music educator, conductor, and musician with over 20 years of experience in instrumental music. He’s Department Chair and Professor of Music at Martin Luther College, where he conducts the Wind Symphony, instrumental ensembles, and Musical Orchestra. He’s deeply involved in shaping the college’s music curriculum and enjoys mentoring students as they prepare for careers in music education.

Guest Choreographer
Samarah ForsterThis is Samarah’s first production with MLC! She holds a B.A. in Musical Theater with a minor in classical dance from Christopher Newport University. She choreographs and directs for many area theater programs, including Cathedral, NUHS, SEHS, GFW, Sleepy Eye Community Theater, and State Street Theater. She also owns Flō Dance Company in Sleepy Eye, where she teaches everything from ballet to ballroom!

Student Choreographer
Lindsey HattonLindsay Hatton is a junior elementary education major from Menomonee Falls, WI. She has danced for 14 years, and choreographed Footloose in summer 2024. This is her eighth show with Forum, both onstage and behind the scenes. She can’t wait for you to experience the hard work everyone’s put into this show! To God be the glory!

Producer
Anika MetzgerAnika Metzger is a junior with a double major in secondary physics and chemistry education. She has enjoyed being behind the scenes for nine shows at Martin Luther College. The highlight of her Forum career was co-producing Ask Any Girl last winter! She is ecstatic to share this timeless story with you! God is good!

Bow Office Manager/Ushering
Mora EnokaMora Enoka is a secondary English education major from Salt Lake City, Utah, in her final academic year. This is her second Forum show working behind the scenes. She is grateful for the support of her peers and is thrilled for the audience to experience their incredible storytelling. TYJ!

Forum Assistant
Barb BackerBarb is a lifelong supporter of MLC, especially husband Warrren (DMLC 1982) and daughter Cathy (MLC 2016).In February 2024, she joined Forum as Mrs. Thompson’s assistant, and she is loving getting to know the students who make Forum such a wonderful MLC organization. They all truly give their very best in everything they do! Enjoy the show!

AVCO Tech Manager
Lillian RuddatLillian Ruddat is a junior elementary education major from De Pere, Wisconsin. She has been involved in many Forum shows, building sets and working AVCO. She is thankful to be a part of the experience and to support all her peers on stage. All praise to God alone! Hope you enjoy!

Set Shop Supervisor
Philip WelsPhilip Wels has been the scene shop supervisor at Bethany Lutheran College since 2018, and last year he also assisted MLC with the set of "Fiddler on the Roof." But more often than that, you’ll see him around campus with a camera in his hands. Praise God for fun opportunities!

Guest Backdrop Designer
Holly WelsHolly Wels is a graphic designer from Mankato, Minnesota and a 2017 MLC alumna. Last year she designed the digital backdrop for "Fiddler on the Roof." She loved digging into the world of "Little Women" to bring you the interior scene backgrounds. She hopes you enjoy the timeless story of "Little Women"!

Hair and Makeup
Eva DoeblerEva Doebler is a junior English education major from Garden Grove, California. She has been working with Forum’s hair and makeup team ever since "Hello, Dolly!" her freshman year. She’s loved getting to see this cast flourish in their roles. God has truly blessed her with an opportunity to be a part of it!

Costumes
Emma Grace KramerEmma Grace Kramer is a senior in the elementary education program from Gibbon, Minnesota. She has been involved in numerous Forum shows, primarily in the costume department. She has loved working with this cast, seeing the show come together, and hopes you all love the show as much as she does!

Paint and Props
Bethany SpikeBethany Spike is a sophomore from New Ulm, Minnesota, majoring in elementary education. This is the third Forum production she has been involved in, having acted in "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Ask Any Girl." Bethany would like to thank everyone involved for all of their hard work. SDG!

Set Building
Elijah BagasaoElijah Bagasao is a sophomore from Sturgeon Bay, WI on the preseminary program. He has previously been involved in Forum with "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Once Upon a Crime." He is excited to see everyone’s hard work come together to create this show. As always, all glory to God!

Stage Manager
Josiah ClouteJoe Cloute is a secondary English education major from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. He has acted in past Forum shows, his favorite being The Importance of Being Ernest. He can’t wait to see the incredible talents of the cast and crew on display!
