Shannon Lambert-Ryan
Shannon Lambert-Ryan is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and dancer, from Philadelphia. A graduate of Muhlenberg College with backgrounds in Celtic, folk, classical, and musical theatre, she studied Music, Theatre, and History.  Acting career highlights include the Arden Theatre Company’s “Sweeney Todd”, M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Village”, and the world premiere of “Il Sogno di una Notte di Mezza Estate” (Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream) with the International Opera Theatre Company in Italy.   Shannon, currently, tours as the lead vocalist and manager of the multi-award-winning Celtic Roots band, RUNA, which she founded with her husband and band member, Fionán de Barra in 2008.  She has shared the stage with a number of distinguished artists, including Keith & Kristyn Getty, Téada and Grammy Award-winners Ricky Scaggs, Moya Brennan, Ron Block, Jeff Taylor, Buddy Greene, and Heather Headley.   She tours, annually, with the Getty’s Christmas production, and has acted as the tour’s Stage Director and Choreographer, as well as a member of the band.  She has performed, internationally, on such prestigious stages as Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall (London, UK), Smolny Cathedral (St. Petersburg, Russia) the Kennedy Center, the Kimmel Center, and the Ryman Auditorium. Singing in multiple languages (English, Irish Gaelic, Scots Gaelic, French, and Latin), she was nominated at the Irish Music Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year. **Shannon grew up at the Philly Folk Fest, volunteering with her family on the Hospitality Crew! She and Fionán met right here at the Old Poole Farm as performers in 2006!! They have performed with RUNA at Fest several times and are excited to have their son, Liam, grow up as part of the Phily Fest tradition! **

Tom FItzgerald
Tom is an accomplished musician from Bancroft, ON. While his primary passion has always been playing the fiddle, Tom is also accomplished on the guitar, mandolin, and as a step-dancer. He is a Canadian Grand Master Fiddle Champion (2012) and a Canadian Open Fiddle Champion (2012), and has performed with Natalie MacMaster, Leahy, Nathan Carter, Tommy Hunter, Tony McManus, Brian Finnegan, Jade Eagleson, and We Banjo 3, among others. Growing up in the centre of the Ottawa Valley, Tom was immersed in the rich tradition of Canadian Old Time fiddling and step dancing. However, over the years he has absorbed elements of other musical styles and traditions such as traditional and contemporary Irish, country, bluegrass, swing, jazz, R&B, and classical, which allows him to effortlessly fit into almost any musical situation.

​        He is a seasoned performer, having had the opportunity to tour professionally with his family band “Everything Fitz” since he was 9 years old. The group continues to tour as “The Fitzgeralds”, performing extensively across North America and Europe. In 2017 a video of the group’s high-energy a cappella dance routine went viral via Ireland’s independent.ie, with over 7 million views. Since 2006 the band has performed over 500 live concerts, ranging from theatres, festivals, fairs, house concerts, weddings, corporate events, and more. The group has released 4 albums, the second of which was nominated for the 2019 Canadian Folk Music Awards "Instrumental Group Of The Year". Tom is also a member of the Celtic group "Runa" which tours across North America.        In 2017, Tom completed the Bachelor of Music program at Humber College in Toronto, ON where he studied jazz violin. He released his debut EP of original music "The Art of Done" in 2023, which featured Brian Finnegan (Flook), Sean Og Graham (Beoga), Liam Bradley (Van Morrison), and more. Besides performing, he also teaches privately and has been an instructor at various music camps/workshops across Canada including the Leahy Music Camp, Algoma Trad, Smithers BC, Orangeville Fiddle Camp, Central Peel Regional Strings Program, and Goderich Celtic College.

Fionan de Barra
Fionán started playing guitar professionally with Riverdance in the USA in 1999.
Since then he has worked as musician, producer, arranger and musical director for many of Ireland and Scotland’s most prominent musicians and artists including, Moya Brennan, Clannad, Eileen Ivers, Solas, Damian Dempsey, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Zoe Conway, Camille O’Sullivan, Paddy Maloney, Colin Dunne, Fiddlers’ Bid and Keith & Kristyn Getty.

Cheryl Prashker
Cheryl Prashker studied classical percussion at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where she was born and raised. She has toured Canada, U.S. Europe and Russia. She spent many years in NY City where she honed her skills of playing anything from Rock and Roll, Klezmer, to Celtic as well as Middle Eastern music. She now uses her special style of percussion to enhance the music of such artists as Eric Andersen, Jonathan Edwards, PatWictor, Tracy Grammer, Full Frontal Folk and her own Celtic Roots Music group RUNA.  Cheryl is now the Artistic Director of the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival in Ontario, Canada.

Jake James
Jake is a two-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion, bódhran player and dancer from Queens, New York. He started playing fiddle at age seven and is a student of Niall Mulligan, from County Antrim. Jake studied bódhran with Eamon Murray, of Beoga and has won the trophy at the Mid-Atlantic Fleadh Cheoil from 2010 to 2017. Jake has been studying Irish dance with Dublin-born Niall O’Leary since the age of three. Over the years he has shared the stage with bands such as Runa and Green Fields of America and performed and taught at different venues and events such as Carnegie Hall, Gracie Mansion, BB King’s, the Great American Irish Festival, the Irish Arts Center, Symphony Space, and Joanie Madden’s Folk’n Irish Cruise. He has toured all over the United States, Canada, Ireland, and, most recently, Japan. Jake released his debut album, Firewood, in early July of 2018.
