About Significant Other

Jordan Berman, mid 20’s, average build, loves cats. Looking for my soul-mate here, but I’m finding that’s easier said than done. So until I meet Mr. Right, I’m currently warding off lonely nights with my trio of closest girlfriends. But our singles’ nights are turning into bachelorette parties, and I’m quickly learning a painful lesson: the only thing harder than finding love is supporting the loved ones around you when they do.

Significant Other is a critically acclaimed Broadway play that chronicles one man’s search for love while his closest friends are slipping away, one by one. Festival 56 regulars will recognize elements of our crowd-favorite production of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change; with similar threads of uproarious comedy, and tear-jerking heart. Our production will be helmed by 13-year Festival alum and new Co-Artistic Director Tim Seib, who directed Festival favorites such as The Full Monty, Violet, The Wizard of Oz, The Lucky Stiff, and many more.
