Building Strong Play Structures

In this playwriting class, students will examine play structures that align with and diverge from traditional Aristotelian arcs, looking at varied examples of how form and content can be in conversation with each other with ideas from Sarah Ruhl, Suzan-Lori Parks, and Paula Vogel. Together we'll complete writing exercises, build outlines, and dream up big plays that have distinctive forms.
