By reliving the relationship between his 4-year-old self and his favorite toy, the velveteen rabbit, a young man rediscovers the true meaning of friendship. This timeless classic explores the rewards of loyalty, the poignancy of loss, and the wonderful, surprising powers of love. In addition to playing the DA stage, “The Velveteen Rabbit” will tour, playing select local elementary schools during its run.
