The Lion King Jr. Cast

Isaiah is a Freshman at Plainview High School. He was last seen Buddy in Elf the Musical and Pugsley in "The Addams Family" at DCFA. He loves to read and play games. Isaiah would like to thank his family for all their support.

Jude is in Mrs. Smith's 4th grade class at Collinsville High School. He is very excited about having the opportunity to perform for the DCFA. Jude has performed in many plays at his church, Fellowship Christian Center. When he is not in school, he enjoys playing basketball, playing with his dog Opie, and going to church. Jude wants to tell everyone in his WHOLE family that he loves them, and GO BIG RED!

Brooklyn is a senior at Plainview High School. She is thrilled to be participating in DCFA’s The Lion King Jr! Brooklyn has most recently been seen as Deb in DCFA’s Elf the musical. Her prior DCFA roles are Wednesday Addams in The Addams family, Sally Brown in Your a Good Man Charlie Brown and Atina in The Little Mermaid. Brooklyn has also been seen as Cady in Mean Girls Jr at NACC. When Brooklyn is not in class she enjoys reading books, hanging out with her theatre friends and singing. Brooklyn also uses her free time to figure when Taylor Swift will be releasing reputation (Taylor’s version). She wants to thank her director Mr.Hagler for giving her an incredible senior year, and for teaching her and encouraging her throughout all 5 shows.

Lexi is a Junior at Sylvania High School who is excited to be back at DCFA playing her favorite Disney Villain with such an amazing cast and crew. Lexi was recently seen as Ensemble in Beauty and The Beast at NACC Theatre, Crew in Driving Miss Daisy at NACC Theatre, Ensemble in The Addams Family at DCFA Theatre, and Mrs. Greenway in Elf The Musical at DCFA Theatre. When she’s not at school or rehearsal, Lexi enjoys reading, listening to music, gardening, and hanging out with friends. She would like to thank her wonderful family and friends for continuously supporting and encouraging her in all her endeavors.

Corbin is a Sophomore at Scottsboro High School. Previous credits include Pugsley in Addams Family Musical and Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at NACC Theatre, The Mad Hatter in Alice In Wonderland at Collins Intermediate School, Sebastian in The Little Mermaid, and Lurch in Addams Family Musical at DCFA. Corbin enjoys playing the Ukulele and hanging out with friends outside of theatre. He wants to shout out his mom, nana, pawpaw, and aunt for supporting him.

Ansley Thomas is a junior at Plainview High School and she is ecstatic to be playing Zazu in The Lion King. This is her fifth production with DCFA. She was recently Ensemble "Elf", Ensemble in "The Addams Family" and Flotsam in "The Little Mermaid" with DCFA. Her favorite role was playing Snoopy in "You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown." When she isn’t working on a production, Ansley plays tenors and is the drum captain for the Plainview High School band. She also enjoys crafting and creating working with resin, painting, and restoring vintage gaming machines. She wants to thank God for allowing her to have the opportunity to be apart of such a wonderful group of people and her parents for always being there for her.

Anna Beth is a senior at Sylvania High School who is so thrilled to be in DCFA’s production of The Lion King! Anna Beth has been in several productions with DCFA in the past including: Jovie in "Elf the Musical," Raja in "I Never Saw Another Butterfly," Flounder in "The Little Mermaid," Linus in "You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown," and Alice in "The Addams Family." She has also played roles at NACC Theatre such as: Janis in Mean Girls Jr, Alana in The Little Mermaid Jr, James in James And The Giant Peach, and Fan in A Christmas Carol. Outside of theatre, Anna Beth plays the keyboard in the Sylvania Marching Rams band and loves to sing and draw. Anna Beth wants to thank her loved ones for helping her run lines all of the time!

Cammie is a Senior at Sylvania High School who is thrilled to be participating in The Lion King as her last DCFA production! Cammie was recently seen as Manager in Elf the Musical, Uncle Fester in "The Addams Family," and Light Operator in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" at DCFA Theatre. When not participating in theatre, Cammie can normally be seen either with her nose in a book or chasing people around her school with a microphone. Asah is a junior at Living Stone Creative Arts Academy. She is super excited and very grateful to be in this show! The Lion King is one of Asah’s favorite Disney movies. Asah was most recently seen as Gretchen Weiners in Mean Girls Jr at NACC Theatre. Some other roles she’s played are Peter Pan in Peter Pan Jr at Living Stone Academy and Ensemble in The Lightning Thief Musical at NACC Theatre. In her free time, Asah enjoys reading books, singing, and going outside. Asah would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her! She would also like to thank her teachers Mrs. Hannah and Mrs. Katie for growing her love of theater!!

Saylor is in the 5th grade at Geraldine High School, and she is ecstatic to be in her first play! Saylor enjoys playing sports, which include volleyball, basketball, and cheering. Two of her most recent awards in school have been 1st place in her school’s spelling bee and 2nd place in Language Arts for the state Beta Club convention. When she is not in school, she enjoys rock climbing, gymnastics, and spending time with her friends. She would like to thank her mother for always going out of her way to take her to practices!

Amiya is a homeschooled 4th grader. She is excited to be making her first acting debut in DCFA Theatre’s The Lion King Jr! When she’s not in school, Amiya enjoys singing and participating in pageants.

Jody is a Senior at Ider High School who is super excited to be part of DCFA theatre's The Lion King Jr in his second ever show. Jody was last seen as Walter Hobbs in Elf the Musical at DCFA. Jody enjoys playing games with long play time. He wants to thank his parents, his brothers, and his two sisters for being super supportive and awesome!

Seattle is in the 7th grade at Scottsboro Jr. High School, and is excited about being in The Lion King Jr. with such a great cast and crew. She loves her DCFA theater family. She has been seen as Michelle in Elf the Musical at DCFA, Twin 1 in "Peter Pan Jr.," and Flounder in "The Little Mermaid Jr" at Collins Intermediate School in Scottsboro. Seattle loves Jesus and loves being part of her youth group at Faith Covenant Church. She loves to sing and shop. She is involved in the BETA club, and she is on the yearbook committee. Did I mention she loves to shop??? Seattle gives all the glory to God for giving her the talent and opportunities to perform. She wants to thank her family and her friends that support through all she does. God Bless!

Bryson is in 7th grade at Section High School. He is thrilled at the opportunity to be cast in The Lion King Jr. with all of the talented students at DCFA Theatre! Bryson was recently seen as an elf and fake Santa in Elf the Musical at DCFA Theatre; Glenn Coco in Mean Girls, Jr., at NACC Theatre; Tommy in Matilda the Musical at NACC Theatre; and James Brown in The Lightning Thief the Percy Jackson Musical at NACC Theatre. When he's not in school, Bryson enjoys being Mr. Mighty Lion (his school's mascot), skating, dancing, riding bikes and loving on his fur babies! Bryson would like to thank his Mom and Dad for continued love and support!

Kaitlyn is a Senior at Fyffe High School, and she is super excited to be able to be part of another show with DCFA! Kaitlyn was recently seen in DCFA productions as Ensemble/Charlotte Dennon in "Elf," Ensemble in "The Addams Family," and crew for "You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown." You can find Kaitlyn enjoying her time at home or with her best friends. Kaitlyn also enjoys playing volleyball, painting, clowning around, listening to music, and doing absolutely nothing at home. She wants to thank her Mom and Dad for always supporting her and dealing with her attitude sometimes. She would also like to thank her best friends for inspiring her every single day.

Zaylyn is a Freshman at Fyffe High School and is very excited to be part of The Lion King. She is thakful for every opportunity that comes her way. Zaylyn was recently seen as Ensemble in Elf the Musical and Ensemble in "Mean Girls Jr." at NACC Theatre. When she’s not at school, she is listen to Pink Floyd, watching Star Wars, and spending time with family. She wants to thank her mom and dad for supporting her; even when things get tough, they are always there for her.

Hank is a Freshman at Plainview High School. For him, being in The Lion King is very exciting and brings back many memories. Hank was last seen as Matthews in Elf the Musical with DCFA. When he is not in school he is playing Fortnite with his best friends. He wants to thank his family and most importantly his little sister.

Carmen is a 8th Grader at Fort Payne Middle School. She is thrilled to be doing her second show here at DCFA Theatre! Carmen has been Flounder in The Little Mermaid Jr. at NACC, Ensemble in The Lighting Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, and Eric in Matilda! She has also been Ensemble in Elf Jr. here at DCFA. Carmen enjoys listening to music (she is a collector of vinyls!) She is also part of her school's drama club and is in the National Junior Honor Society. Her biggest passion is singing; Carmen has been humming before she could even talk! Carmen wants to thank her Mother for always being there for her and convincing her to join theater!

Gracie is in the 8th grade at Fyffe High School and is super excited to be a part of DCFA Theatre’s The Lion King! Gracie was recently seen as Adella in "Little Mermaid Jr.," A Statue and Dead Person in "Percy Jackson’s The Lightning Thief," Nigel in "Matilda" at NACC Theatre, and Ensemble in Elf the Musical at DCFA. When she’s not in school, Gracie enjoys the hiking, painting, and reading. She wants to thank her Mom, Dad, and brother for encouraging her through all her dreams.

Ryder is a 6th grader at Fort Payne Middle School who is very excited to be in the Lion King! Ryder enjoys singing and painting, and he would like to thank his mom for all the encouragement she gives him and his dad for all the discipline that got him here today. He couldn’t have done it without them.

Jocelyn is in the 5th grade at Little Ridge Intermediate School. She is so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing cast and crew in DeKalb County Fine Arts Theatre’s The Lion King Jr! Outside of school, Jocelyn loves all things art and can be found painting or creating something just as unique as her personality! Jocelyn wants to thank her family for always supporting her in anything that she does and pushing her to reach the stars!
