Shauna is recognized in the Wilmington area for choreographing (and sometimes directing) shows at many local schools and venues! Last year was her first year as the creative head of Concord Players, directing Elf, Jr. and Legally Blonde. She loves watching the excitement the students get from being on stage and performing a show that makes everyone's lives a little happier! Shauna also owns the largest Disney and Universal Authorized Travel agency in Delaware - Magic Plus Travel! Much love to her Kiddos, Paul, and Mom for putting up with her insane schedules and outlandish visions and always making them come to life and for being willing to drop everything to help her, to our parent volunteers for always being on top of everything, to Melanie for never saying any dream is too big and to my Dad - Kevin Hitchens - who came out of retirement to work with me as the stagecraft head- It's a new favorite memory I will have forever!

25 years ago, I started working backstage on high school productions, and thanks to my daughter Shauna and 30+ shows later I have returned to the stage to see my grandkids perform again. Over the years I have had a chance to work with entertainment lighting manufacturers as a national engineer, and meet numerous performers but returning to high school theater is truly an opportunity to see future artist learn and grow. Many thanks go out to my wife Debbie for sharing her time while we prepared the stage, and built the sets for Seussical, Jr.

Ms. Mijares is thrilled to be back for another year of Theatre! This is her fourth year Concord, and her third year working with the Drama program. At Concord, she has music directed Mamma Mia, Elf, Jr., and Legally Blonde. As Drama Advisor, she has served as producer for the ill-advised 48-Hour productions of High School Musical, Jr. and Into the Woods, Jr. Before teaching at CHS, Ms. Mijares was the co-director and co-founder of the drama program at Snow Hill High School. Her favorite role to date is the Wicked Witch in The Magical Land of Oz where she notoriously made a small child cry in the audience with her witchy cackle. She directs the choral ensembles at Concord and also teaches the Musical Theater elective course. In her free time she enjoys baking cookies and putting on one-woman performances for her cat. Thank you to the cast, crew, pit, production staff, and all of the parents and volunteers that helped make this show happen!

Jillian Pathak is the band director at Concord High School and this is her third Concord production conducting the pit orchestra! Outside of the musical, you can find her sitting 30 feet in the air during marching band practice, or scatting in jazz band rehearsal. Previous theatre credits include conducting the pit for Legally Blonde and Mamma Mia, and playing trumpet in countless other musical theater productions in the area. Congratulations to the cast, crew, and pit, and thanks for all of your hard work! Break a leg!

Matt is a Delaware native and graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. He is excited to be working on Seussical, Jr.! Matt has been designing and working on sound and lighting for the Brandywine School District’s high school productions for the past 10 years. He has worked on community theater, regional theater, and professional theater productions over the years. Matt’s favorite part about working on the high school productions is teaching and advising the students on how to use the lighting and sound equipment. During the performances, all lighting and sound equipment is operated by Concord High School students! Break a leg to all cast and crew!

Elliott is a senior at Concord High School. He has been acting since the 5th grade and has held several leadership positions with Concord Players. Elliott has directed plays with Wilmington Drama League, one of which won in competition. He is the vice president of the GSA, in Student Council, Class Board, Art Club, and Student Voice Advisory.

Maggie has been dancing for ten years and is excited to be Dance Captain for Anastasia, Jr. Maggie also served as dance captain for last year's productions Elf, Jr and most recently for Concord Players' production of Seussical, Jr. She hopes you enjoy the performance!

Becca is a junior and this is her first time serving as Dance Captain. She has danced in many of our productions, including Mamma Mia, and Legally Blonde.

Ellie is very involved in the Music Department at Concord––she is a member of Honors Orchestra, Chorale, and co-director of the Madrigals. She has also participated in many honor choirs, and is a member of the Wilmington Children's Chorus. She plans to study music in college.

This is Eli's 8th and final show here at Concord. They are so happy that it could be this show. They would like to thank everyone for making theater a welcoming place for them these past 3 years.

Jacob is a junior at Concord High School.

Holly Schrack is a senior at Concord High School and this is her 6th production. She can't wait for the spring musical.

Bailey Fields is a sophomore and this her fifth show with Concord Players. She was part of stage crew for Elf Jr, Legally Blonde, last year’s 48 hour musical Into the Woods Jr, and most recently Seussical Jr (as Thing #5). Enjoy Anastasia!

Milo has been in stage crew for 5 years, including over COVID. They have experience in sound, lighting and run crew. They also enjoy marching band in the fall.

Maggie is a freshman at Concord.

Zach is a freshman at Concord and this is his second time doing stage crew and he has had a lot of fun. He is excited to be a part of building and painting sets for future shows.

Josh is a junior at Concord.

Mekhi Boone is a senior here at Concord HS and has been playing drum set in the pit since his sophmore year. While this is his last play at concord, he is excited to continue playing for musicals after high school.

Carter is a junior at Concord.

Jonas is so hyped to be a part of the Anastasia Pit Orchestra! He has also played pit in Legally Blonde, as well as Almost Friday for Wilmington Drama League. He runs Cross Country & Track, and also is a black belt in karate! Have fun!

Ellie is a junior at Concord.

Makena is a freshman at Concord HS. She is thrilled to be given the opportunity of playing in the pit. She is a member of District Symphony Orchestra and Educators Rising. She enjoyed the challenge of playing both Viola and Violin.
