Join Texas country singer-songwriter and entertainer, Evan Wade for an intimate evening of music, storytelling, and the songs that have shaped his journey. Influenced by traditional country sounds and inspired by the family members who first introduced him to the craft, Evan Wade has spent years performing across Northeast Texas and writing songs drawn from real-life experiences. Penning nearly 100 original songs. 

Having shared work with Grammy Award-winning guitarist and producer Brad Davis and daughter of country music legends George Jones and Tammy Wynette, as well as performing throughout the region, Wade brings a genuine love for country music and storytelling to every performance.

This special acoustic show offers a behind-the-scenes look at the stories, memories, and inspirations behind the music in a one-of-a-kind evening you won’t soon forget.

Our volunteer and donor support has given Community Players Inc. the opportunity to provide entertainment to Sulphur Springs and the surrounding areas for 40+ years!

In addition to our primary mission of furthering the Arts, we strive to provide opportunities to aspiring actors and actresses, as well as persons interested in the “behind the scenes” workings of theatre.

We also bring opportunity and fun to the children of Sulphur Springs and the surrounding area by offering a Children’s Workshop during the summer season. This has been a very successful endeavor that allows our children the chance to see what happens throughout the production of a play from start to finish, as well as give them the opportunity to perform or control the backstage elements of a performance.

There is no cost to participate in our productions (except nominal fees for workshops) and newcomers are encouraged to try out!
