Monty Python's Spamalot School Edition Cast

Heather Hunt (Keyboardist)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Heather has been in three shows at Columbine as a keyboardist: The Addams Family, The Little Mermaid, and now Spamalot! Pit orchestra has given her the opportunity to further her knowledge with difficult music while fitting her sound in within the context of a larger ensemble and production. Heather enjoys piano, long walks on the beach, and not forgetting how many rests she has to count. She looks forward to potentially pursuing music as a minor in college and being a part of her college's basketball game crowd, where they hopefully won't be first losers to Baylor! Heather would like to express her gratitude to her parents and her friends in the musical, who have been a great support to her during her high school career. :)
Hannah Mayer (Student Director)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Hannah Mayer has been doing theatre since 6th grade, and has been involved at many shows at Columbine since freshman year. She has been in 8 shows at Columbine, and has done everything from musicals to tech to acting. She is very passionate about theatre because she loves to become other characters on the stage, and ever since she started, she's known this is where she truly shines. She would like to thank her parents for slowly getting her into theatre, Wasser for being the best theatre teacher (subtle promo), and all of her friends who have encouraged her to pursue her dreams. Theatre is, and will always be, her true home.
Erin Heald (Flute)
FABULOUS SENIOR: This is Erin's second show. After high school, she is attending Colorado School of Mines for a degree in Computer Science and plans to join the field as a software engineer.
Mary Hopkins (Stage Manager)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Mary has been part of every show columbine put on while they were here(14?). They love the creative process of turning a pile of lumber into the world of the show and the atmosphere of backstage. Next year, they will take a gap year hopefully working for habitat for humanity and sticking around this theater, and then go to college for technical theater. They would like to thank all of the techies for giving them a place in the world and making their dreams of an organized theater a reality. They have primarily done set building and run crew and then stage managing.
Ainsley Miner (Laker Girl)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Ainsley will be attending Texas Tech University in the fall! She will be double majoring in Spanish and French with a masters in communications. Wreck em’ Tech!!
Alex Hoffman (Asst. Stage Manager)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Also known to techies as Hoffman or Hoff due to the number of techies who go by Alex, Alex Hoffman was first convinced by Mary to join tech crew as a freshman for the One Acts performance. Since then, he has been a part of tech for 4 shows. As dearly as he loves the theater program and the community at Columbine, he will be going off to CU Boulder next year to study engineering.
Jayden Parrill (Clarinet/Bass Clarinet)
FABLOUS SENIOR: A peasant from the minstrel cave, Jayden plays reedwinds, particularly the clarinet. Once known as "The Angery Frenchman," he might taunt you, maybe even a second time about it. The clarinetist has gained a small obsession with the performing arts as a whole in his last year in secondary school.
Claudia Wilson (Choreographer)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Claudia has been the student choreographer for the musical each year since she transferred to Columbine her sophomore year. After high school, she plans on going to the Colorado School of Mines and potentially start on a pre-med track. What Claudia loves about theater is the friendships she’s made and the years of memories each show has granted me with. Some of her passions are dance, tennis, and just hanging out with her friends. She would like to thank her parents, friends, and Wasser for getting her where she is today. And she wants to say a huge thank you to everyone in this cast, crew, and pit for being so awesome to work with and she will miss all of you dearly next year.
Morgan Sides (Sir Robin)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Morgan Sides is a senior at Columbine High school, and he is excited to be in his 9th and last show with the Rebels With Applause. He is very grateful for the many roles he has been able to play. He would like to thank Mrs. Schwartz for her initial support, and Mrs. Wasser for 3 years of opportunity, learning, and friendship. After he graduates he hopes to go into filmmaking, his greatest passion.
Juliette Reid (Patsy)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Juliette is excited to be in her sixth show at Columbine if you count the two shows she participate in while in second and third grade. Theatre has been Juliette’s passion since the moment she was born. She’s been in over 40 shows through local theatre groups. She’s had many mentors along the way. She would like to thank all of them including Ms. Schwartz, Mr. Marsh, Ms. Wasser, and Mr. Newland. Juliette also appreciates dance, her favorite being tap. She was thrilled to be able to pull out the old tap shoes and perform the classic number, “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.” She hopes to carry out the optimistic message behind the song as she goes onto Regis University to study nursing.
Grace Ptak (Clarinet/Tenor Sax/Alto Sax)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Grace has played one or multiple instruments in almost every musical event that has been available for the past four years— although she really is getting quite tired, she wouldn’t trade anything in the world for the experience of performance.
Cate Behm (Historian/Not Dead Fred/Dance Captain)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Cate has been involved in theatre since she was little. Some of her favorite past roles include Fred (Once Upon a Mattress), Maria (Twelfth Night), and Kate (Legally Blonde). She plans on going to CU Denver to major in graphic design and minor in communications. Enjoy the show!
Paige Klermund (Sir Bedevere)
FABULOUS SENIOR: This is Paige's eighth show at Columbine. Her passions include acting, singing and musical theatre, and gardening/growing house plants. She'd like to thank her past arts teachers for inspiring her to continue with music, and Mrs. Wasser for giving her the chance to find her place in the acting world while gaining the confidence to make mistakes. Spamalot has been an amazing learning opportunity in all aspects, and she can’t wait to experience more things like it. She loves the atmosphere that Columbine's theatre program has to offer, and she hopes that it will inspire others to grow as well.
Ellie Crowfoot (Laker Girl)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Spamalot is Ellie's first and final show here at Columbine. Huge thanks to Wasser for casting some cheerleaders as the Laker girls. She will be continuing her education at Liberty University to study interior design. Go Flames!
Madi Brusca (Lady of the Lake)
FABULOUS SENIOR: Madi is one of the most unique people you might ever meet. Throughout her four years in the columbine theater program, she’s learned to simply be her authentic self and do everything to make people smile. She’s not afraid of anything (that might be a lie) and she’s ready to take on the world. She’s a dreamer at heart and plans on pursuing a career in the education field. In time, she knows she’ll teach unsuspecting elementary school children how to embrace the dreamer within themselves.
Eli Manutes (Sir Lancelot)
This is Eli’s eighth show at Columbine, and he’s been acting since freshman year. Eli’s headed to Baylor University next year, with hopes to become a diplomat. This show’s been a strange, but welcome final show for him. He loves archery and playing the piano; and he’s eternally grateful to his dad for putting him on a path of theater and music—without it, he thinks he’d be terribly boring.
Neil McCallum (Mrs. Galahad/Herbert)
