The original Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella was written for television in 1957, but in 2013, Cinderella took the Broadway stage for the first time with a new book by Douglas Carter Beane and new songs in addition to everyone's favorites from the classic like “Impossible" and “Ten Minutes Ago”. The new musical tells the same famous story of a poor servant girl with an evil stepmother who finds love and magic upon meeting her fairy godmother, but it also introduces new characters like the Prince's villainous minister Sebastian and the passionate rebel-rouser Jean-Michel. This fresh take on a classic tale brings the same heart as the original with an upbeat and funny new script. 

Our mission is to give our students experience on stage and backstage in an environment as close to professional theater as we can get. We believe that being a part of a show is a unique way for students to learn valuable skills like leadership, responsibility, public speaking, teamwork, and professionalism. We hope that our students leave our program equipped to handle themselves with confidence as they transition into their next stage of life.
