Scott Dai (Shep Henderson )Scott is excited to make his Chanticleers debut in this enchanting production alongside a truly magical cast! He recently played Edward Angkatell in The Hollow (San Leandro Players) and is happy to be back onstage for another production after a long hiatus since his theatrical shenanigans in college. He'd like to give huge thanks to Katie, Simon, and Cecily for being an amazing family and for all their support. Lastly, a tip of the hat to all the kind and creative people who have helped shape his journey - friends, co-workers, and nemeses alike.
Karen Barbera (Queenie Holroyd)A local art and drama teacher, Karen is grateful for her Chanticleers debut. Favorite past roles include Mademoiselle Gabrielle in The Madwoman of Chaillot (San Leandro Players), Ivy in Chemical Imbalance: A Jekyll and Hyde Play (San Leandro Players), and Truvy Jones in Steel Magnolias (Sunnyside Productions). Karen thanks her family, Dana Fry, and this wonderful cast for their love and support, and is thrilled to bring a little mischief and magic to this enchanting production of Bell, Book and Candle.
Larissa Kasian (Nicky)For many years, Larissa was improvising avidly with BATS Improv, UnScripted Theater Company, and Rag Tag Improv. Favorite improv formats include Super Scene and improvised plays in the styles of Tennessee Williams, Downton Abbey, Farce, Jane Austen, and Murder Mystery. Earlier this year she was seen in The River Bride at Chanticleers and The Hollow at San Leandro Players. Larissa is excited to be on the Chanticleers stage again with this wonderful group.
